I got a message from staff:
We received a support ticket from one of your club members asking to send items valued at 15 million to another player for your Secret Santa club event. We believe this amount is too high which we've already told her. It appears participants have been told there is no limit when in reality there is. We would like to suggest that, since some people may not be able to afford even the minimum of 500k, you make the limit 3 million so nobody feels ripped off. If anyone wants to go higher than that they can do so AT THEIR OWN RISK provided the amount does not go over 5 million. Anyone wanting to go higher than that - and again we don't recommend it - will have to submit a support ticket requesting permission.
I'll send out mails about it in a bit.
REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED!
FOR ATM Members only!
It's almost that time of year again! The air has a bite to it, snow is coating the ground in some areas, and people are starting to think about Christmas!
Everyone who registers will receive the name of a person, you have until Christmas to buy a present for the person you get. Names will be matched up at random. There is no limit on how much you can spend, that is completely at your discretion, however to keep things fair it is asked that the value of your gift be at least 500k mp. If you can't afford 500k mp you can contact me, and I'm sure something can be worked out.
A good way to let people know what you're looking for is to either have your wishlist up to date (please do make sure that you don't have only super expensive items on your wishlist so that people can afford to buy you something), or to have a blog listing what you may be looking for or you may want. If you need ideas on what to get the person that you are matched up with blogs and wishlists are great ways to find out what someone wants, but you can also look through their galleries and collections. If you see that they have a nice collection of something you might want to get them something they're missing.
I will send out the names of the person you're to buy a present for on December 11. That gives you 14 days to find the gift you'd like to give.
PLEASE DO NOT send your gift until CHRISTMAS EVE or CHRISTMAS DAY! You have until December 26 to send your gift out. Please do not register if you have no intention of buying a gift for the person whose name you draw. It would be just wrong as that person will not receive a gift if you don't send one.
Remember that any gift valued at 5 million or more you must send a support ticket before sending! We don't want anyone getting banned for sure, especially not for doing something so nice for another player!
I wish you and yours the best this upcoming holiday season. I wanted to start registration early so that there's time for everyone who wants to participate to register. To register please post in the comments. If for any reason you change your mind about being in the Secret Santa program this year, simply delete your post.

The story by bebbs that won the grand prize:
This had been her best Halloween ever, Susanne thought to herself as she drove to her apartment complex. She'd joined her friends for a 'spooktacular' Halloween party full of fun and then the group had gone to the town's haunted house-----just as they'd done for the past 10 years. As always, each year the haunted house got scarier, more elaborate, a lot more realistic. This year though, one particular 'actor' in the haunted house had really freaked her out. He truly looked like a monster with the ghoulish makeup disguising any hint of his real life identity, the knife he wielded was a bit too long, a bit too real looking in her opinion. But it was just a prop-----everyone knew no real weapons were ever used in the haunted house. Not ever. But as much as the 'prop' frightened her, his whispered voice as he'd leaned in to her and said his knife was 'thirsty' was what had sent her screaming and running from that room, his maniacal laughter ringing in her ears. She shuddered as she recalled the incident. But it was all fake, right? Yep, this year, the haunted house had exceeded all their expectations and she couldn't wait for the next year's Halloween. Before she knew it, she was pulling into her apartment complex's parking lot. Gosh, she really needed to stop letting her mind wander while she was driving. She pulled into her designated spot, shut off the car engine, and got out. As she locked her car doors, she glanced up at her apartment. Ah, home. She loved it here. The area was safe, secure, and she knew all her neighbors by name.
The well lit complex allowed Susanne to swiftly make her way up the short flight of steps to her apartment. She already had her key in her hand so she put it into the lock and turned the door knob. The excitement of the night had given way to weariness now. A good hot soak and then she'd slip under the covers on her nice, comfy bed. Pushing the door open, she stepped into her living room, turning as she did so to switch on the light. But before she could do so, suddenly, in one swift motion, the door shut behind her and she found herself in an iron grip, held tightly by someone behind her. She tried to scream but the large hand covering her mouth wouldn't allow it. She panicked. Who, what, why??????? The tiny hairs on the nape of her neck prickled as warm breath brushed over her left ear. A male voice practically whispered, "Bet you didn't think you'd see me again tonight. " What? Who held her, who was freaking her out, 'who' was it that she'd seen tonight and was now griping her so that she couldn't move, and covering her mouth so she couldn't scream for help ? Her mind raced. In a blink, the iron grip ceased, but the one hand kept firm over her mouth. Warm breath touched her ear again and then came the voice........the whisper...."Do you remember me now? " he said as the shiny blade of a very large knife flashed in front of her face, the glint of the cold, hard steel captured by the slivers of light from the security lights as they made their way through her windows. Then the feel of pain so intense, so fierce, it took her breath away. Over and over the knife hit home until at last, Susanne's now lifeless body slid silently to the floor.
The next morning, Susanne's co-workers listened in stunned disbelief and shock as they were informed of her gruesome death. This was the 10th Halloween night murder in as many years. As before, no clues, not even a hint. The Halloween serial killer had claimed yet another victim and most likely would strike again the next year unless the police could get a break in the case.
Two offices down the hall, behind a closed door, a man was pushed back in his office chair, feet casually crossed at the ankles and propped on the desk. His fingers were interlaced, hands cradling the back of his head. He smiled to himself. Yes, this had been the very best Halloween ever. Already he was looking forward to the next one. He loved working in the haunted house. This had been his 10th year there and he'd honed his skills more and more with each passing year. But what he did after the haunted house closed was what made him look forward to the next Halloween. Yes, this had been the very best one ever.
Poor Susanne never dreamed that this handsome man just 2 offices down from hers, the man she always smiled at when they passed in the hallway, was the Halloween serial killer. And even as he took her life that night, she still didn't know........
