"Every Rusty has it's day.." -changed from rusty to zola 24.03.20
Hi! My name is Wyoka!
I was named after a camp that my mom travelled to for over 11 years (5 as a camper, 4 as a junior leader, 2 as a staff).
This camp sadly shut down due to underfunding, leaving my mom to feel as she was stripped from her forever home.
The moonlight costume is for her favourite activity since she was a younger camper, the astronomy session before the weekly beach sleep.
This was where everyone would sleep under the stars (the moonlight) on the waterfront.
My species? It's for "the bear in the sky" which was one of the stories we'd tell, and also one of the lines in the staff story during the last campfire at camp.
Zola's are also very magical, so it will serve as a reminder to always believe in magic, "Magic" being her favourite camp song
Although my mom lost a place that felt like her forever home, I promise her to never leave her side.
