Once upon a time, there was a research center in Marada. Researchers used little sindis for testing. There was a little green sindi with a tag REsearch-Test-Animal-Y-A so they called her Retaya. Retaya was used for testing effects of coffee on performing different tasks in various situations. Retaya enjoyed it there. She had many sindi friends and researchers treated her okay. And Retaya really really liked coffee. Retaya was a cheerful little sindi except when she didnt get her coffee. Then she would be really grumpy. One day the research center had to close because there was no more funds to keep it open. All sindis were going to be rehomed. Retaya was sad that center was closing, but she was looking forward to getting a new home. But one scientist saw closure of research center as an opportunity to open his own laboratory in Enpiah where he could do projects that were not approved in the research center. He sneaked in the center during the night, stole Retaya and took her to his new laboratory in Enpiah. He built a big machine that was meant to transform pets into money. Retaya didnt like that scientist and she was very scared of his machine. When it was time to test the machine, scientist put Retaya in the machine and pressed a big button. Retaya felt terrible pain as if her body was tearing apart. And then it stopped. Retaya was still alive, but her body started to shine as if she was radioactive. The scientist got very angry with the result so he grabbed the poor sindi and threw her into the cage. Scientist started to shout "I will fix this machine and I will make money! And I will keep using that sindi until the machine works or until that sindi dies!" Retaya got really scared. She remembered how researchers promised her new home with lots of coffee and now she is locked in some cage in some evil laboratory. Or not! Scientist was so preoccupied with fixing the machine so he forgot to lock the cage. So Retaya sneaked out of the cage, stole his coffee and ran out of the laboratory. Retaya then found an escape pod and after few minutes she was in some strange woods in Marada. She was happy that she escaped from the laboratory so she decided to find a new home with lots of coffee and some day make sure that the scientist never hurts anyone else. If only she wasnt alone in these scary woods...
