No stuffing was harmed this time. Probably.
Fortunately, the damage didn’t matter.
Unbeknownst to most, the Plushie Machine was already scheduled for a complete replacement — one that arrived suspiciously fast, as if someone had anticipated the chaos.
And, like all machines affected by the ongoing Solar Flare, every use now has a chance to help you discover a planet, if you’ve launched any gumballs into orbit.
Twelve new planets have been spotted in orbit — shimmering with unfamiliar colours, shapes, and gravitational pull.
Scientists are reporting a subtle shift in weight.
Some say it’s the wind. Others say it’s beginning.
She used to wear goggles. Back then, everything hissed. Everything clicked. Everything mattered.
Snorella lived through an age of copper bolts, hand-poured moulds, and handcrafted machines that spat out smoke like they had opinions.
There was no AI in her era… and she plans to keep it that way
The gears needed oil. The valves needed tuning. And everyone respected the hiss of pressure.
Her machines filled entire buildings. Her blueprints lined brass-plated walls. People came from all over Marada to see the things she built — to hear the hiss of steam, the clank of pistons, the rhythm of invention.
The kind of machines that required gloves, timing, and courage. But over time, the machines got quieter. Smaller. Safer. Less Exciting.
“Ma’am, please step away from the machine.”
Security had arrived.

Still fuming from her encounter with the Vending Machine, Snorella wandered deeper into Slater Park.
The first makeover in nearly two decades. About time.
“This place used to smell like brass and popcorn.
Now it smells like sugar and disappointment”
Her next stop was the Enchanted Plushie Machine. She remembered it — barely — from long ago. Once a marvel of soft magic and meticulous craft.
She moved the claw to the left and nothing happened. Fifteen minutes she waited and she moved the claw to the right. Nothing happened.
She waited again. And again. Six times. The claw jerked sideways. The screen blinked. No plushie. No prize. Just a long, robotic sigh.
She kicked it. Hard.
The lights cut out. The screen shattered. A faint whiff of stuffing escaped into the air. She walked away without a word and got in line for the Murfin Madness rollercoaster.
By the time she returned, the Enchanted Plushie Machine was gone.
In its place stood something sleeker. Animated screen. Responsive claw. Dots and arrows tracking every movement. A fresh stock of new plushies shimmered inside.
And like the others affected by the Solar Flare, every use now has a chance to discover a planet, if you’ve launched any gumballs into orbit.
Snorella found it by accident. Covered in cobwebs, flickering faintly, humming in an annoyingly cheerful tone.

The machine, of course, ignored her — just as it always has. Time hasn’t been kind to its contents. Most of the clothes inside are worn, dated, and — in Snorella’s words — “a fashion crime even gravity can’t forgive.”
But today, something changed.
The solar flare surged. The Vending Machine blinked. A new prize dropped.
Not much has been added yet — but it was enough. Enough to get her attention. Enough to remind us that some features aren’t forgotten — just sleeping.
Every use of the Vending Machine during the Solar Flare may help you discover a planet, as long as you’ve launched gumballs into orbit.
Enpiah’s orbit has become overrun with clusters of drifting gumballs — some glowing, some pulsing, others wrapped in what scientists are calling “aggressive candy coatings.”

Since the solar flare, something has changed inside the Gumball Machine. It's not always dispensing gumballs.
It's launching them into orbit at speeds between eleven and one hundred and ninety nine kilometers every second. You can see for yourself at the Launch Log.
Gumballs don't belong in orbit! Even space fish can’t explain what’s going on.
In orbit, the gumballs twist, glow, and pulse — their surfaces warping under some unknown pressure. Every hour they change, almost as if evolving. And now, after six hours in orbit, they’ve started to… solidify. To become.
The Telescope is tracking them all. A Gumball Launch Log records every departure. And if you’ve launched at least one yourself, you’re now eligible to discover them.
Its distance travelled? Calculated to the exact kilometre. And the Longest Journeys are being watched very closely.
Across Marada, unstable energy surged through power lines, teleporters, and machinery. Machines are malfunctioning.
One such machine - Candyland's Gumball Machine - shuddered violently before launching thousands of gumballs into the air like a cannon.
Some say it malfunctioned. Others think it finally woke up. Zero Refunds.
They didn't fall. And now, dozens of gumballs drift silently across the skies of Enpiah, caught in low orbit. Some say they're evolving into tiny planets. Others think the machine simply misfired.
Crowds are building in Candyland, hoping to see it happen again. But one traveller - just recently awoken from a very long slumber - watched it happen and scoffed.
“Modern machines. So flashy. So... inefficient.”
She spent the day touring Marada, unimpressed by what it had become.

And why—after centuries of silence—has she awoken now?
No one knows.
But it happened just hours after a massive Solar Flare struck the planet… and only weeks after the unexplained Glitched Weather Event that still has scientists scratching their heads.

A warning?
Or the beginning of something far stranger?
The skies are flickering. The machines are twitching.
And something ancient has opened its eyes.

Whenever there is a blackout event, the retired Galactic Treasure Chest is back on sale at the Account Upgrades Shop. It will automatically retire again when power is restored to Marada.
The blackout has Baspinar's Castle and Eleka's Castle in darkness 24 hours a day. Therefore the Knutt Knight will stay sleeping and his quests cannot be completed but the Troll mission will stay open 24 hours a day. The Bank has decided to remain open throughout the blackout.
