Is it possible to fix the coding on the belts so that we can color the 2nd layer at the fountain? When it is on the top layer, it doesn't appear at the fountain...
I had no idea this wasn't working. When a belt was "moved above" tops the colour change didn't show in Lush Fountain but it does now.

Would it be possible to have it so on the main MaraTalk page we could delete our private MaraTalks off there? I'm collecting quite a long list!

With the recent addition of the checkmark feature that shows us which pet has eaten certain items (thank you SO MUCH for that!)I was wondering: can you extend this to all collection items? CD, DVDs, Books, etc... Some of us like to give all our pets the event items or just boost all their collections.
I've added it to all Pet Collections (Books, Cds, Dvds, Instruments and Toys) but there isn't any point for member collections. If you try and add it twice it will fail.

Any chance of a feature in the making that would allow trade lots to be flagged the same way wanted ads are when 'check price' is used on an item? i.e if someone wants to buy an ike maker they can satellite search ike potion or plushie and 'check price' on all the colours to see if there are any available (0 in trades, 1 in trades same as auctions/ads) instead of back and forth searching every colour individually in trade search? thanks (:
Trades are actually very old and will be re-coded soon. Same with Pet Trades and Items Wanted. They are using an older system which came out before Price Check. The new Trades will have a lot more features later this year :)

I know the 'You need to wait 1 second before buying from this Shop again' feature was added ages ago, is there a reason this was added? Would you ever reverse it or make another feature where you can buy multiple of the same item from someone's shop in one go?
This is a feature left over from our very old servers. Several players trying to buy the same item slowed us down. The reason this is annoying is because it was actually 3 seconds, but said 1 second. Marapets loaded a lot slower then so wasn't really noticed. I have now changed this to 1 second so it shouldn't be so annoying!

Will the Stock Market be functioning again soon?
Yes, very soon. I'm actually spending a lot of time improving it this time so it should be worth the wait!

- Will there ever be an @user feature implemented into forum/blog titles/contents, so people are notified either by an alert or popup when their username is tagged and if so will it be limited to those who are on your friends list, or just those who allow mentions as some sort of on/off/friends only setting?
I have added it to my to-do list. It doesn't mean it will happen but its something I would like to look into. It could end up the same way as the like/dislike bar... a good idea until it comes to Marapets!

Are Figaros going to be permantely retired? They are slowly being retired from olympics so where are they going?
No, but those colours of Plushies or Potions will be. If it ever runs out of Figaro Potions or Enchanted Plushies, we would release some newer colours for the shop.

Why hasn't the Editorial updated in over two years?
The questions didn't come in quick enough or in good enough quality to make it a weekly thing. Now it has been re-released as an ongoing Editorial. Some days may have many questions answered, some will have none. But hopefully it will be updated with a few each week at random.

Will some of the plain, color costumes ever be added to older pets which don't have that costume yet? I know the more fancy costumes do, but for example my quell can't wear a black costume(haha which I really want!) and I fear that the only costume updates for pets will be the more detailed/themed ones.
We've been doing both! All of the costumes where the pet doesn't change pose will soon be avaliable for ALL 76 pets. We are also releasing more colours all the time for some of the 'fancy' costumes and also updating some of the older costumes that were 'fancy' 12 years ago on a dial up connection but are not so much now!

I've noticed that getting your pets qualified for jobs are not worth the low pay and is frankly outdated, are you planning on updating jobs anytime soon?
Yes I will and the pay will be much better but divided by the number of pets you have in work. It doesn't seem right that someone could have 100 pets in basic jobs earning more than a couple of pets trained and working hard in the highest paid jobs. I don't want players running a Marapets sweatshop haha

Can you add gender to pets on Adoption, Auctions, Etc? So we know which gender the pet actually is at a quick glance.
I'm suprised it isn't there already! I've added the little male or female icons next to a pet's name at the Pound and on Pet Auctions. If you can think of other useful places I'll see what I can do.

Are we ever getting new furniture?
No. As I mentioned before, Homes are pretty much a dead feature. Any new furniture added in future would be for Character's as Holograms or Scenery.

Can you make it so we can buy items from our own shop?
No... what would be the point of that?

Can we please have more pet jobs?
Our new Jobs Fair event will start in March. This will allow us to dedicate a lot of time to a brand new Jobs feature. All current jobs will be changed, new ones will be added and there will be many more promotions avaliable.

Will the Homes feature ever be renovated?
Homes will not be renovated. They are a very old feature back when Marapets was just about the pets.
Once our characters came along (we were the first pet site to have a dress up doll feature) they become a major part of the site and the time we would spend working on homes is instead spent on Wardrobe items - which are far more popular!
If it wasn't for the avatars, growing of Organic Minipets and a few other features of the Homes they would have been discontinued years ago!
What you most likely will see is that all of the useful features of homes will be "renovated" into other parts of the sites (Gardening feature in Gigantic Paradise for example) and Homes/Gardens as they are discontinued.

Would it be possible to make tracking collections easier? I have a giftbox showing me which food Im missing, but I still have to try to find it on the list. Instead of having it organized by page number, could we have it by letter? Then It will be easier to find. Or even a checklist we can check off. Or a notification when we go to feed our pet telling us if its something they have eaten already?
I have just coded it a new feature now for all players with the Missing Food Giftbox. When you use any food or drink item, it will have a tick next to the pet name if they have already eaten it. I hope this helps!

On the gold mission trophies there are numbers to show how many times we've completed that particular mission. Will there ever be numbers like that to show how many times we've won the weekly battle challenge and weekly quest challenge?
Yes! I actually added them as soon as I saw this editorial suggestion but never answered it. I hope you at least noticed that it was added.

Will we be able to block users from commenting on our forum topics?
No, the forums are public and every player can comment on anything public. Moderators will "block" anything not suitable. If you want a private conversation use Maramail or Group Chat on MaraTalk.
