from Dani's club letter: "I went and got myself really sick, I'm home recovering now, and am happy about that! So I have to change the time of the chat trivia to 17:00 MST. I know it is much later than I usually do it, but hopefully it is a good time for every one or most everyone. I am working on getting the prizes in trades, but the pet makers are in my gallery. Anything but the decadal potions and the enchanted plushies may be used as a prize. There is a lovely ice fairy chibs potion in there to be used as a prize too!
Do not forget 17:00 MST, there will be lots to win, and everyone who participates, even if they only try one or two questions guaranteed gets a prize. If you participate and do not win, simply offer on any ONE trade lot after it is done and I will accept it for your consolation prize!"
12/8 UPDATE - new yearly event - 12/8 - 12/25 Borak's Brewmas
Complete Borak's Brew quests between now and December 25th and if you win a Cooking Utensil item it will be from his seasonal Brewmas Prize List
Borak's Brewmas is a new annual Elfember event that will run from December 8th to December 25th each year. The prizes will retire at the end of the event but will come back (hopefully with with new prizes added) each year!

Jolly old St. Nicholas needs your help stuffing stockings with gifts this year. You will visit other club members' blogs to leave them a message in the comments and send them a gift for their stocking. This is meant to be a fun event everyone can participate in, so gifts should be available on Shop Search -- save your big gift for Secret Santa. (Just like the club trick or treating, but with a Christmas theme.)

The rules are very simple. Do the day's task and post on bluetaz2001's blog same day it is completed. After you post, you will win a fun prize. You win a prize for each day you enter. Please post the day as well so I know what day it is for.
This was so much fun last year! If you are super busy this time of year, don't worry. The tasks are super quick. it's fun to do every day, but if you can only do a few days that's ok too. Participate as much as you are able.

The club Secret Santa is where you register, get matched up with a name, and then you buy that person a gift. After registration closes, you will be told who your recipient is.
We do ask that gifts be no cheaper than 500k on shop search. You may send a more expensive gift if you wish, but please keep to Mara's gift giving rules. If it's a very expensive gift please submit a support ticket asking permission before sending it. We don't want you or the receiver to get in trouble over this for sure!
If you register and then do not send a gift to your recipient you will be banned from participating for at least 3 years in the future. If you register it is not fair to not participate.
When Dani sends out the mail with who your recipient is, she usually sends out tips on how to find a good gift for them, as well as a reminder to make sure your wishlist is up to date, and to please not have only insanely expensive things on it. Some participants do not have huge budgets and so they would like to get you something you would want and they can afford.
