Welcome to the Ultimate Pet Trading Guide! After pet trading so many times, I have noticed that pet trading values can be vastly different from maker values. (Updates of pet trading values tend to lag behind pet maker values)
All opinions are welcome to modify this guide :-)

How This Works: I have split the pets into categories and indicated how easy they are to trade for each species within that category. This does not apply to other categories because of course, it is hard to trade a middle le for a high le and very easy to trade a middle le for a low le! These are largely based mostly on my past pet trading experiences.

(1) Upsizing: Do not upsize unless it’s at least a 5 mil overoffer. Many people are at or close to 100 pets so they are looking to downsize, not upsize. Overoffers are now a must if you are the party that ends up upsizing.

(2) Badly Named Pets: An 8 mil overoffer (cost of name cert) is needed for a badly named pet. Badly named pets include names in which the first letter is not capitalised, numbers in the name, extremely long and hard to pronounce names

Normally can trade for each other depending on owner's preference and costume, with the exception of ushunda which is available in shop search. I did not include values as they mostly trade for each other. It really depends on trader's luck and preference if they can trade for higher LEs.

Non LEs

Their pet trade value is 0
In other words, non LEs trade for non LEs. Trading a non LE for an LE is possible but it is based on luck and whether you just happen to have the pet the user is specifically looking for! You can create a forum pet post to see if there’s any interest for your pet.

@Statue hello! Thanks for the info. :-) Unfortunately I stopped all pet trading quite some time ago so I no longer have the experience with recent pet prices and hence have to research before updating now. Will update the costume guide but till then it is outdated.

Posting this just in case: As of early 2021 - two changes affect this guide: - DAILY COSTUME BOUTIQUE is released. A retired costume will stock for 4 AU/8mil. So most costumes are no longer worth more than 10mil tops, arguably. Pet name certificates are no longer retired.

Sadly, pet certs have gone way up since they retired. Currently the cheapest is 23.5mil, as of 12/4/20.

I was the one who traded my Zola for your gourmet pet! Hopefully it'll be helpful if I share the reason why I traded. It was mainly because Greedy Gertrude was up for the Monthly Mission Contest with the Unnecessary Perfection Instructions as a reward which I really wanted, and I was fresh back to Mara and had no pets with gourmets/stats/learnies. I've been working on the pet since then, and she now has 3800+ gourmets Smile
