having a poem writing contest and whoevers is the best will get it published in our yearbook so i wrote this poem:

i have a sad story
a story of my past year
it might get a little gory
or yo will just shed a tear

my family went through some hard times
and my brother had to move to missouri
all we had left were dimes
then our life went into a scurry

my dad was bad and went to jail
and my grandma had a stroke
we asked ourselves why he failed
and then my grandma spoke

maybe this year wasnt the best
but i an looking forward to the rest

ok so i need your opinon on how good it is. rate it 1-10 and if somthings wrong please help me on fixing it. you may sujest diffrent words or things i can put in there but please help me out the best that you can!
