Class assignment i was assigned: Sonnet 10 syllables each line and 14 lines.

In the City of Love

Bright lights, shining, flashing, waiting for you,
this place of your dreams; yes a dream come true.
Moonlight leading you to the tower's path,
leading you straight toward it's beauty's wrath.
Stunning beautiful art along your way,
but these sights and smells could lead you astray.
Keep going for you know where true love waits,
sitting under the Eiffel's metal gates.
Eyes meet followed by a loving gaze,
both longing for the moment their lips graze.
Then unexpectidly he kneels on one knee,
he smiles and asks you "Will you marry me?"
Thats what you find in the city of love--
true love as pure as a graceful white dove.

Because of you

My feelings for you are making me delirious
In the morning I'm happy but nightfall finds me furious
All these feelings are starting to impair my heart
Because our love was so strong now it's falling apart
Your passion is making me deranged
After our first time nothing was the same
We used to be serious but now it's rouge love
I used to think cupid was flying above
Now im hysterically crying and shouting
Because inside my belly a baby is pounding.

Obsessed

A box of chocolates and a heart shaped note,
not all lonliness has an antidote
Valentines day is just an old tradition
For all victims of Cupid's mission
I can tell you care I see it in your eyes
but this has to end you can't handle my lies.
Your love for me divided by three
is what I feel about you and me.
I have added up my choices and made a decision,
you wanted me to be happy but this isnt your vision.
I found someone better then you could ever be,
so pack your bags it's well past time to flee.
Count to ten and close your eyes,
how can I break your heart without your cries?
You sequenced the events of your love for me,
but a timeline always ends, can't you see?
The last step in the Order of Operations is subtraction,
minus me from you to end your obsessive attraction.

Just a poem

No forgiveness

Connected by fate,
together forever,
you are my soul mate,
never say never.
Say you will never leave,
promises are meant to be broken,
but now its all greive,
I am yet to have spoken.
Leaving me with nothing
hiding away my tears
but I have been bluffing
through all of these years.
This ring I now see,
has a fake gem,
you never wanted me,
it was always them.
She has more to give,
then somebody like me,
what you have done, I can't forgive
my heart has no remedy.

Just a poem I wanted to write

Not stopping for any soul
continuous, inevidable
no memorys, unconservable
no jars, uncontainable.

The clock is ticking,
hourglass isnt far
side effects are kicking
keep your eyes ajar.

In the blink of an eye
your world can change
the limit of the sky,
to great for range.

You can never know
what is seconds ahead,
star of the show
or years of dread.

Time to decide
time to forgive
cannot reside
cannot be relived

Impossible to feel
possible to sense
this is now real
not in past tense
