I just got bored... please rate out of 10!

I was sitting in my room one stormy night, doing nothing because the power had gone out. I couldn't text a friend because my phone was dead, not to mention out of minutes. I was alone, in the dark, bored out of my mind. This feeling was driving me out of my sanity even! Suddenly out of no where, I wanted to die. In a house like mine, I could do it many ways, most involving fire arms.

There was a sudden flash outside my window, lighting the cloudy sky like a hot summer afternoon in June. This was the first of the lightning for the storm. The BANG of the thunder roared into my eardrums, giving me a headache, and leading me into more insanity. I was completely and utterly alone.

Any other all A student, teachers' pet, or nerd would take this time to study, or rush ahead in his subjects. I on the other hand despised study, or unnecessary work, at that time. Instead of being a book worm, I preferred technology. In my down time, I would often take apart my electronics and rebuild them, but it was too dangerous to do during a thunder storm. Another flash of lightning disturbed my concentration. It was followed by a BANG that was less than a second behind the lightning.

I was sad, lonely, and bored out of my sanity. There had to be a solution out of this situation. I could only think of death, but I knew that wasn't the real answer. There was another flash, this time the thunder was just about simultaneous.

I cursed loudly and whispered a death sentence, "GOD KILL ME NOW!"

It was not long before the fourth flash came, this time right on the roof of my room! There was suddenly a hole in the roof, shrouding me in a coat of rain, coming rapidly. What I should have noticed is that the lightning had set my end piece on fire, and there was no stopping it because it was roofed. The fire quickly spread through my bed despite the rain. I blinked, flabbergasted, soon my chair was ablaze and I would parish with the leather.

My death sentence came true, surprisingly. The rest of my family had evacuated the house while I was scorching. By the time the rain naturally put the fire out, there was nothing left but a black carcass, burned from less than ten minutes aflame. Ironically, though, I don't believe in a god and what I had whispered should have just been gibberish. Surly enough I had said upon my death and died in a tragic fire.

Weird.....

I used to be depressed.... One Friday, I was shopping with my mom (she made me go so I can reach high shelves for her) and something happened... I don't know what it was, but I suddenly felt fine after passing through the technology part of Wal-Mart. My mom gave me the idea to, instead of buying an $80 crap Mp3, buy an Ipod touch by asking for money for Christmas and my Birthday(Dec. 18).... This was a good idea, and it gave me something to want so I can just picture me with a black Ipod, just really happy

... I think that brought me out of despair and gave me hope... But, on that Friday, I was saved, some how some way, but truly saved from depression and despair...

Some say God, I say I don't know....
