9th Apr 2010 11:09 Hello, there! Welcome to my application for your Chibs, Katelli. I'll be referring to her as Katie throughout the rest of the application, as I find that nickname cute and quaint. I hope you've prepared yourself a nice warm cup of coffee (it's pretty early over here), because you'll need it to be able to finish this application. :] I've started off with a table of contents, just for your convenience, and to allow you a glimpse of what you'll be reading.

So, let's begin, shall we? I have the faintest feeling that you're falling asleep, so maybe I should just hurry this up.
[ About Me ]
I don't want to talk too much about myself, so I'm going to try to make this as short as possible. Well, hello there, my name is Kat. I go only by Kat, but most of the time I'll respond to Twiste, as well. In real life, I'm a high school student, and I speak fluent English and Vietnamese. Being an asian girl, I always have to maintain decent grades, which almost zaps out my social life. I'm kidding; throughout this year, I've really upped my after school activities. I've done cross-country in the summer, swimming in the fall, soccer in the winter, and track this spring, with a bit of Key Club and Honor Society sprinkled in between. I don't have any pets, as my mom is extremely allergic to them, and so am I. However, I love fish, so I have two of them. I'm taking my first French class this year, so pretty much all I know is Je M'appelle Kat.
Online, I show off my Asian flair. My signature right now is a panda, a signature mark of all asian people. I love restocking and doing Leprechaun quests, as well as missions and goals. In my free time, I chat in my club or make graphics. I have a knack for creating little signatures and banners, but only for money. Hehe. I have many, many goals, but I plan on finishing them all. And needless to say, I love Chibs, just because they're rare and they look like cats. However, I only have one so far - Noella. Katielli would make me so extremely happy; she'd almost complete my dreams.
[ About Katie ]
Enough about me; let's talk about Katielli instead. This is just my view of her. Katie was originally a black chibs, but it felt too dark for her; she was astonished when one day she woke up in frills and a soft cushion of pink cotton candy. This feeling was immediately replaced with delight and glee, and she's been happily living the rest of her life in CC form.
Her name originated from Katie, but being a bit asian, the Li was added to signify her Chinese roots. Katie's full name is Katherine Leing Li, but it was mercifully shortened to prevent any botched pronunciations, and Katie was thus known as Katie L. Li, or Katielli. Katie doesn't mind this nickname, and thankfully, no one else minds either.
Katie's favorite minipet is a Pixel, and she wishes to own one someday. However, she'd gladly settle for a Hammy or a Twittle - both a mouse and a bird would make a great breakfast ... ahem, pet. She enjoys exploring Marada, especially Lowlywood. Needless to say, Katie is a bit vain, and she needs to groom her mane each day. And above all, Katie loves spending time with her family, and her owner.
[ Why Katie? ]
So, why was i attracted to Katie in the first place? Was it her name, or simply because she was a Chibs? I'd have to say a little bit of both. You see, I have a friend named 'katieli,' that is her exact username, and she's been my best friend on Marapets since I started, so I guess that's why I seemed to like Katie so much. It was her almost identical name. Also, my nickname in real life is Katie, even though on Mara I go by Kat. We both have the same name
And yes, she's a Chibs, and that's why I love her tons, too. I love cats and dogs alike, but I actually like Persians the best. They have a squashed in face and all, kind of like a Chibs. I love the name Chibs too. Had Katie been a Kronk or Nino, I probably would not have been as interested; they aren't as attractive as this cat-like marapet.
Katie is also a cotton candy pet - one of my favorite costumes on Mara. I doubt I would have liked her as much if she had been a Toddler Chibs (the Toddler version kind of scares me) or a Baby one. The Cotton Candy costume shows a sweeter - literally - side of the Chibs. It always seems so fierce and ferocious, and having the CC costume on it just mellows its anger. The costume also allows the Chibs to be much more feminine, a trait a really like.
So, yeah. That's why I loved Katie at first sight.
[ Plans for Katie ]
You might be wondering what I'll do with Katie, if I were to ever have the privilege of owning her. To be quite frank with you, I probably won't be feeding her every second, tucking her into bed, and all that crap. I don't believe it when people say that they'll care for your pets in that obsessive manner.
However, I can promise that Katie will be statted up a bit, at least in the magic range - I have access to the Ice Caves, so she'll probably get a ton of Magic Stats from there. However, she won't be extremely buff or ripped: maybe just toned a bit, to show that this cat is capable of beating up a little Newth. ;D
And besides all that, Katie will probably not be leaving my profile, nor will she be changed. I told you before - Chibs are one of my favorite animals, and the CC is among my favorite types of costume. trading her would be pointless and quite stupid, as I'd enjoy having her, and why would I ever try to portal her, let alone change her in any way? Katie is fine the way she is, and I love her quite dearly.
[ Why, Why Not? ]
Now, you're probably thinking, "Why does Kat even deserve to look at Katie, let alone own her?" This is the section where I'm going to putting my worst and best aspects - you'll get a glimpse of who I am, and whether or not I am deserving to own Katie. I say, let's get the bad news over with first.
I'm not as deserving as other people who are applying, simply because I have such nice pets already. Even though I worked hard for my pets, I'd like to give others a chance as well. There are some newer members out there who are extremely capable of owning a limited edition pet, so I think that by giving Katie to them, you'd be helping to spread joy. I have a Viotto and another Chibs already, so I think that if Katie were to go to someone else, it wouldn't be as much of a loss.
However, I believe that I deserve Katie because of my dedication and responsibility, both shown on Marapets and in this application. I've written a lengthy application to show how much I really care for her and how much she means to me. If I didn't care for katie at all, I wouldn't have put in this time and effort to show my dedication. I've also showed my diligence on Mara - I have a few million in the bank from saving up and such, and a few nice items in my gallery from months of obsession. I'm also pretty responsible - I rarely trade pets, unless I'm extremely bored or desperate. Thus, I think Katie would be fine living with me. I wouldn't starve her or neglect her - in fact, she'd probably be the spotlight on my profile.

Oi, time to take a whack at creative writing. I might be adding graphics in due course, but for right now we'll have to be stuck with my not-so-great poems.
