Bio:

This is Ludovic Adair, a demon, and my original character. He's approximately 2000 years old, not including the time he spent in hell during his childhood.
He's a secondary generation demon, that is, he is the product of two other demons having a baby; a rarity in their world.
A second gen demon stays within hell until their body is strong enough, and then they are capable of moving to the human world by their own volition: a feat not capable by first gen demons.
Once on earth, their souls are put into the body of a human, which is often the baby of a couple which has prayed for a very long time to be able to conceive children. The human body is then changed slightly by the demonic soul it houses, giving them often odd hair colours, black sclera, and 'demon scars', black marks which show up either from wounds which have been caused by holy weapons while the demon was in the demon world, or from emotional pain.
Emotional pain does not usually cause demon scars, however, once the demon reaches maturity within its human body, they will become aware of their demonic status. As of this realisation, the demon will go through what is called the ???twilight period??? of its life. In order to protect the mental state of the demon while they comprehend the enormity of their power and lineage, the human brain will shut down all extra functions that get in the way of the two halves of the demons existence ???the time spent in hell and the time spent as a human- and as a result, the demon is no longer able to externally show emotion, including any sort of expression, speech, and body language.
It is during this time that emotional pain can cause demon scars ??? however it must be extremely severe emotional pain, and it only arises as the demon has no other outlet to express its anguish.
As of 1853, Ludovic entered his own Twilight period. He has been in this state for 159 years, one of the longest twilight periods to be recorded, but it is anticipated that when he does awaken, his moral character will be much stronger than that of other demons.
Ludovic currently works as a bodyguard, and though he says not a word, he does his job diligently and with no risks taken.
