This is my research to see what it costs to put a pet through the Transmogrification Temple these days. It used to cost upward of 45 million MP (usually closer to 60 million or more, since hieros were generally all unbuyable), and people would always go for Roflings to trade at ~90 million MP comparable pet value. However, that kind of valuation does not make sense anymore as all or most hieroglyphics are now in SS, many for under 150k.
My feeling is that Roflings are not worth nearly as much as some people are trying to trade them for these days (maker value aside, as those are collectors items), and I worry for the players who are trading valuable pets for Roflings because outdated pet trading guides claim they are still super valuable and they hope to flip them for other pets.
