Ever since my grandmother died Death has been one of my closest friends. My family lived in New Mercury-there had never been a Old Mercury or a Mercury-just a New Mercury. Grandmother lived in Satellite, oddly named because Satellite was the center and the top, never on the fringe. People who lived in Satellite were accomplishers, they did important things that moved them out of the New Mercury and the Skirts. Grandma used to be a famous scientist until she got to old and shaky to hold beakers, but she stayed in Satellite like most of them. It was a place of tall mirrored buildings and carriages with cloaked beasts to pull them along.
We walked from our house in New Mercury and we had just arrived in well-to-do Satellite when I saw her. She stood out from the well dressed Satellitians even more then my semi shabby family did. Her clothing was bright and so was her red hair, but when I stopped to stare at her passing us she stopped to. I quickly caught up to my older sister but she kept following me; bouncing along near my side not caring how weird she was acting till she spoke up.
???Hi I???m Death,???Death flipped her hair and looked at me as though asking for my name. I was eleven-a mini tween really- and wasn???t supposed to talk to strangers but since my parents were right there and she was only my age I figured it was alright to answer her.
???I???m Jarex,??? I said slowly and trying to not add weight to my words as people said I often did. I thought for a moment, was this girl from the Skirts? The Skirts people did have the oddest names, it still didn???t explain why she was so keen on following me though.
???Sorry about your granny.??? She chirped happily not sounded in the slightest bit sorry. Frowning, not because she wasn???t sorry or knew about my grandmother before I had told her but because I was sure she had either given me a fake name or was here to kill me. I trudged sullenly ahead; Death was still following and she was skipping and watching her red checkered skirt flop around in the breeze.
???I thought Death was supposed to be a tall grim guy dressed in black, no offense,??? I said with a bit of a tremble in my voice, I could only hope she really was a strange girl from the skirts and not the grim reaper come to strike me down. Out of all the things I expe

In a time that I will not say and a place that can not be mentioned is a city called The City. It is large and most of the people in in are content if not happy. Living quarters are decided on effort and results. The most brilliant minds live in the Satellite, the ones hoping to get into the Satellite live in New Mercury(A nice enough area of The City) and those who have no ambition at all live in the Skirts.
Jarex (14) and his sister Almalthea (16) live in New Mercury with their parents who both work in The Labs. A large company dedicated to inventing new things and recreating olds ones for the use of the people. It is owned by a man called Maximilian Grayson who also happens to own most of the Skirts and New Mercury.

However when Jarex and Almalthea meet a girl who calls herself Death everything changes. And now they find themselves in Letum House. A strange house in the skirts where the people are unlike people they've ever met.

Death: A cheerful teenage girl , who is death. Her weakness? If you lock her up in cold iron people stop dying.

Jack*Rippner*: A young man with white hair and red eyes that is on first glance mistaken for a demon. You can recognize him by his boots. But he takes great care to avoid officials as his last name isn't his real one.

Love: A wistfully happy girl of about 21 who tends to act emotionally and without consulting her brain first.
Lust: Love's twin brother, he's handsome and tends to think instinctively. Love and Lust keep each other in check.

Lady Luck: More often called Lady (or Lalu by Jack) she loves games, especially games of chance. While she delights in games and long flowing clothing she can also be very serious.

Now, to stat, What is Mystic Mara? It is a group, not a club, of marapets players about 6 months and up, who remember
how mara used to be. We remember the good mara. Before all of this. Before the glitches, and newbie attacks, and even
before this layout. We remember what mara used to be like, and we want it back! We love mara, but hate the way things are
going! Anyone can be apart of MysticMara, ONLY if you to are against ALL of this, and work to make things better (covered later).

WAIT! (FYI) The REAL definition of a NEWBIE: A newbie no longer means a new player. A newbie is now a horrible person, just
to be honest. A Newbie is someone who has a new sence to pet sites, or any online place. They are ANYONE [regardless of
acount age, pets, or real age] that cannot show respect and descency. It is someone who does not follow rules, does not read
first posts, gives stupid offers, being a know-it-all, is careless, cant punctuate AT ALL, cant read, ignores people, reports every
topic, is a crybaby, ect. If you a little kid....then too bad so sad. Now I know everyone makes mistakes. But the careless, report
happy, give me, royal, spoiled pain in the -you know what- people are Newbies. I HATE THEM. My 7 year old brother is smarter, a better speller, and HE uses punctuation and slight manners!

What has caused this newbie trouble? Overlooking, Overhelping, and Ignorance. First Rule, freebies. DO NOT give new
members free stuff. EXPECIALLY the rare, expencive, or more important things. NEVER give away things like that. Do not give them mp, items, pets, anything. DO NOT feed into begging. This was mistake number one. Make them earn it for themselves.

As they say, feed a stray it comes for more. Also: Give a man a fish, he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish, he eats for life.
Second Rule, Giveaways. DO NOT EVER EVER EVER give away really good pets. It you must, have some requirements. You do not want newer members to think that we get o
