The Poison Pit has finally been released. The far east of Marada is uninhabitable and no one is quite sure why everything here is so poisonous. As more is found out about this area of Marada, a new world may one day be started here! In the meantime, a way to visit this mysterious Poison Pit has been found by completing the Poison Pit Treasure Map. Once completed, its safe for you to visit once every 12 hours for FREE.

Every visit will give you the chance to dip an item into the magic poison pit and watch what happens to the item. The rarity of the item you can dip will change each time you visit - between rarity 1 and 15. Dipping items into the poison pit can have all kinds of weird and wonderful outcomes! Items can turn into MP, BP, RP, Olympic Points, Account Upgrade Credits, gym and elite gym stats for your pets, different Skins for your character or other new, bonus items. If you are really, really lucky your item may turn into a retired item.








The Poision Pit has been added to the Marada map.

An Arctic Treasure Chest in the Account Upgrades Shop will automatically retire February 28th. You can open this item to receive 7 different, random new items, including new clothes, shoes, jewellery, wigs, hat, jackets, book, pearl and gourmet food. There is a new feature for Wardrobes. You can now adjust the position of any pair of Shoes or boots. When your character is wearing footwear, you can choose 'move forward' or 'move behind' to adjust the layering of boots and shoes over different clothing. Jackets is also a new layer, with several new jackets inside this treasure chest!

The Marapets team is sad to say that we lost a very special team member. Some of you may already know, but Fwidman (Frank) passed away last month. It came as a shock to us all and he will be sadly missed not only as a staff member, but also a friend to Marapets. As a tribute to him, we have released a very special minipet in his honour called the Fwidman. Our condolences go to his wife and daughter who also play. We hope the minipet will be a fitting memorial to him.
