love that snaggletoothed paffuto. i think it's always really fun to see pet art drawn in such a different style from the species' base art that it visibly affects the pet's personality (thinking less the mafia costume, which is still fairly on-model with a grimmer expression, and more something like the more recent monster costume art). i like when pets are allowed to have variety in how their faces are shaped and you can make out a distinct character even in the context of the rest of their own species. makes their designs stand out as a lot stronger and more unique, rather than just "here's this pet design again but with THIS theme".
i dunno. i just like talking about creature design. speaking of: the vibe minipet is also delightful. pitcher plant!!!
