No need to sugarcoat anything. All that really needs to be said is "I don't like it" if one doesn't like it. You can even offer some reason as to why you don't like it. Maybe bright colors aren't your thing, or the references to older games is uncool to you. You can say that, and it doesn't insult everyone else who DOES like it at the same time.

I'm sorry, how is calling me or anyone else brain malfunctioned not nasty? Cause I fail to see it as being nice, or just stating that you don't like the art. If I don't like your pets, does that mean I have a right to insult you or suggest you get help since something is seriously wrong with you? It most certainly does not. You did not just insult the art, you insulted everyone for liking it.
