"Without mention of marapets" YAY. This makes me so happy. If my mom knew that the money she gives me usually goes to Mara I would go into the dog house. Lol Shes listed on my bank account so I'm always just hoping she never looks at my transactions LOL

I took that as 1 AU would equal $1 in your currency but still getting charged in pounds, Kinda sucks with the AUs costing almost double in Canada. You should switch to a more central currency like the US dollar since the Pound is always almost double US and Canadian.

Also you should offer AU packages that offer discounts for bulk buying.

Well I don't think I can use paypal until I make a new username. When I try to recover the password from my paypal account. I can only recover it by 2 options text or phone call. And it has my old number which I no longer have.:sleep:

@Knife412 You could purchase AUs as a Guest through PayPal. I used to use the Guest mode for things like StreamTip before my account was finally unfrozen (no thanks to the foreign customer service centre based somewhere in Asia :rolleyes: ).

Well anyways trying to get a new account and add my new card number to pay pal.

And I was hit by this error "The PayPal server is currently experiencing some difficulties. Please try again later or contact Customer Service." :blink:

Knife412, Anything that Marapets offers won't be affected whether you pay as a guest or as an account holder. It is easy to use processes quickly.

Paying as a guest, you don't have to join PayPal and it works quite well.

This 30% is a "sweet deal"... have to get some bucks together for that before it disappears.

When I pay via paypal, once I get to where I plug in my card info or log in to PayPal, it shows the actual amount because I am in the US, so the exchange rate is higher for 1 AU, but it shows the price I will be paying in US Dollars.

the reason AU money is priced in pounds ?? is because that is where we are listed as a company and where we pay taxes.

20% of your AU payment goes in UK VAT (sales tax)

soo if you spend say ??10, we get ??9.46 after paypal fees and then ??1.89 goes in taxes. Marapets gets only ??7.57 of that ??10

when we priced things in USD, the exchange rate changed daily and calculating the taxes was a NIGHTMARE

plus, they were $15USD for an AU back a few years ago... and ??8 is about $12.50 at the moment so you actually get a better rate!
