I hate how these don't show up anymore. Personally, I don't do these, but I don't think it's fair for the same people to win every week.

Yeah, I agree. The only time I managed to win I had to pretty much put my life on hold for a week to quest, and I think it was a quiet week too.

I guess you have to make check the news part of your dailies!

Well I don't like Desert Spy or those that require you to buy from the Restock Shops because it is impossible to get any items. It is really hard because many of the shops they ask for items from are always empty (not enough stock) and the Same People get stock as they have a way of auto purchasing before it hits the shop. I cannot compete with those. Sometimes you can be lucky enough to get something that is stocked and people don't care about because the mp ratio is not enough to bother with. But Desert Spy asks for stuff I can never buy from a shop, so I never do him anymore.

And I always go to the restock shops first and then go to SS for all my items on quests; but to be restricted to the restock shop to me is futile.

I never do these either; I have been considering trying though :P

I agree, please bring the notifications back. I'd have been doing pretty good by now but I forgot it was Thursday. I like everything else that's been going on lately though. :)

May be add a Subscribe to New Feed option? That way, folk who want to get alerts for the weekly challenges or lottery, can at least get an alert telling them at it up.

I really liked getting those alerts too, and wish I still did.

On this one you have to wait until it comes in the shop.... if, and a big if, it does. It is a hard one because so many shops are always sold out and there is no way. I gave up on Desert Spy a long time ago because of that.

So to answer your question, you take a chance, if you cannot restock, you just let time run out and keep trying until he asks for something that you can restock. There is no penalty for letting him time out.
