I hope you have been enjoying Marapets' 21st Birthday. As of the time of writing this, you have about 1 day and 6 hours to finish getting whatever you need. I've been finishing up the last of my gourmet foods for my 16 everything pets.

Once again, thank you to all who have been generously donating items to the club to benefit everyone. If you would like to help out with September quizzes and raffles, here are the items we will focus on in September:

All donations are always welcome, even if they don't fit the items above. Your donations get sorted into swaps, club shop, quizzes, and raffles. Items that fit another month get stored in our club gallery until we are ready to use them. You can always check club items to see what we currently have available to use for quizzes and raffles. Check out the club gallery to see other months. Once you get past all the potatoes, maps, etc. the items are sorted by month.

REMINDER - Halloween Snowman is coming up quickly. Be sure to restock items from the Halloween Treats shop. My personal goal is to try for 200 of each item -- 100 for questing and 100 to sell. Probably won't happen lol, but goals are important Smile

For our newer members, I combed through last year's news releases and put together information about what kind of pet costumes you need for Elger Trick or Treating, which wardrobe costumes you can use for Character Trick or Treating, and which pets get free training. HELPFUL HINT: Ian usually releases a lot of AU items for Maraween, Thanksgiving, and Elfmas. Stock up on AU now before it gets even more expensive.

ATM FARMING QUEST CHALLENGE (Huckster)

It's been a while since we've done a quest challenge and Huckster graciously volunteered to host one. Simply post on the blog and then start questing for those balls of yarn. Stock up or sell these highly profitable items.

This challenge will begin Saturday, September 6, 2025 and run through midnight Mara time on Friday, September 12, 2025. Everyone who enters will receive a random prize from Huckster's attic. These may include retired items, plushies, runes, gourmet food items, and more. Prizes will also be awarded to the top 3 entrants who do the most quests in the allotted time. In the event of a tie, winners will be assigned a number and a random number generator will decide the winners.

We ask that purchases from the club shop are used solely for collections and to not buy excessively, giving others a chance. MAX 10 ITEMS PER DAY.

Shop rules will change during shop events, please reference the shop event news in the newsletters!

⋆ Club Swaps ⋆

Keep swaps to similar values, avoid donating / swapping photos/plates that are under 75k, and take note of how many photos/plates you are swapping. Please keep the MAX at 7.

⋆ Club Auctions ⋆

- Staff auctions will go up on Sunday each week. Hours may vary depending on availability.

- Only one active bid on a staff auction at a time. If you are outbid, you can bid again on any staff auction.

- If you win a staff auction, do not bid on any other staff auctions until next week's auctions

Breaking these staff auction rules will result in a MM warning the first time, downgrade of club rank on second offense, and kick from club on third offense.

NOTE: We can’t regulate member auctions, so we will not be able to have those fall under these rules. If you have items you'd like to slap in club auctions, feel free to donate those items and MM Hair so we can put them up for you.

FAQs

Q. How do I rank up?
A. Boo Crew is not as "advanced" as the other clubs that use club points to rank up. Instead, Boo Crew staff monitor and gauge your activity levels. We understand that everyone plays Marapets quite differently so we try to keep ranking up relatively simple. Things that we look out for for member promotions are (1) activity in club chat, (2) meaningful item donations*, (3) participation in club events, fashion shows, fashion show voting, and newsletter events!

*please don't donate junk items!

Q. What do the club points in the club mean then?
A. When you see that club points are activated*, it means that we are currently going through a club purge. While we are a very casual club and are generally okay with inactivity here and there, we want to ensure that our club resources are used by currently active members of the Boo Crew community. If you find that you've been purged from the club, it does not mean that you are banned. We will welcome non-banned members back to the club when they are back and ready to be active on Mara again!

Q. I want to list many auctions in one go, how do I go about this?
A. You are absolutely allowed to list many auctions in one go, however we no longer monitor club member auctions as they're difficult to track and enforce the rules for. It is recommended to list fewer auctions at a time!

Q. Where do my club donations go?
A. When you donate to the club, all donations go towards future events, raffles, and giveaways.

Q. I'm not a member, but I'd like to join Boo Crew!
A. If Boo Crew is not currently open for new members, but you are interested if a free spot opens up, please reach out to one of our staff members! If you are a current Boo Crew member who wants to invite a friend, you will need to wait for open recruitment to submit your request! Thank you for understanding ❤️

Q. I can't use swaps because the club is being investigated for suspicious activity! Do I need to be worried?
A. Hilariously enough, Boo Crew gets locked down frequently because of the large amounts of item donations our club receives from all of our wonderful members! This is not something you need to worry about, although we completely understand the concern! Usually Mara staff is pretty good about clearing this and bringing our club "back online" in a timely manner.

Q. I can't figure out how to join the club.
A. After you've received an invitation, you'll need to go to the club and interact with the clubhouse logo. Refer to the image below!
