At some point in my Mara-life I took a long hiatus. During that time the Poison Pit Map was released and of course, I was not around to purchase it when it was an active AU selection. When I eventually returned, I didn't even know the map existed until I heard other players discussing it on the forums. Upon learning what it did, I really wanted to get the map.
The only problem was, I could not afford the map.
So after months of saving up MP and spending MP and falling into that repetitive cycle, I finally devoted myself to getting the amount of MP needed to buy the pieces. I successfully purchased every piece except for 13 and 15 which I later learned were the most rare pieces apparently. So just when I thought my predicament was nearly over, I quickly swallowed the realization that my map journey had only just begun.
I've been sitting on the pieces for a painstakingly long time and I've constantly browsed the trades for any listings for piece 13 and 15. Every so often I'd find one but never the other. For months I'd been eyeballing a listing of a full map. Sure, I didn't need all of those pieces, just those very last 2 but if people were selling the full map and not those 2 loose pieces, what were my options? So this week I saved up enough MP to afford the map in full but to my dismay, the person selling that full map had already sold it to someone. Of course, someone else quickly listed their own but at a much higher price and while I could easily squander for that extra cost, I felt like I had to exhaust every other option first.
I sent messages to several users who had map pieces in their galleries in hopes that maybe someone was willing to part ways with the pieces. I also randomly decided to message the original map seller that I had my eye on just in case maybe the listing expired or maybe they had more pieces for sale. Not only did this user respond, but they put the biggest smile on my face and I won't lie, it's still quite prominent on my face.
Risky was a sweetheart and gave me a Christmas blessing. I cannot thank them enough for what they've done for me tonight.

Risky gave me the last 2 pieces I needed for the map allowing me to successfully complete the map. So thank you thank you thank you for giving me a Christmas Miracle. I wanted to make this blog to highlight your great personality here on Marapets. It is kind and giving users like you who make this site and community better than other places. The generosity that many players have to help each other move forward with their goals and dreams is truly inspiring.
Just looking at this makes me smile a thousand times.
