the day I went blue
the stars were shining bright
I hopped into bed
comforted by candlelight.
I heard noises
sharp and clear
but just then something tugged my ear.
'be calm' it said
'do not fear'
I tried to struggle;
I could not see
who was this creature holding me?
I was surrounded
by voices far and near
'oh no!' I thought
'my chance of life is very dear'
I could not scream I could not yell;
this was all a living hell!
So you see,
when the stars are shining bright,
don't hop into your bed,
comforted by candle light.
