It’s been crazy hot here recently. I’ve stayed inside quite a bit. I did go to Universal Studios Beijing this week. I’d been wanting my daughter to go with me. But I know she really wasn’t interested so I figured I’d go alone. It’s about an hour commute on the metro. The crowds weren’t insane but even so wait times were. The first ride I ride was the Jurassic Flyer. I had been in line about 90 minutes when I began to feel unwell. I thought it was my blood pressure dropping ( I don’t tolerate standing around). I had to get out of line (a worker gave me a pass to get back in line later). I bought a snack & a bottle of water & sat in the shade. I had been really clammy which I attributed to it being so hot & humid. But after I had eaten & rested it went away. Had to have been my blood sugar being too low. (I’m terrible about not keeping something sweet on me for this sort of issue). I did get to ride the Flyer which was fun but toooo short! Next I did the Jurassic Park Adventure. It’s quite similar to the Dinosaur one at Disney’s Animal Kingdom ( it’s no longer there). This ride was really neat. The animatronics were A+.
