Admittedly, the original could have used an update... but that new NOSE?! I'm sorry, but a koala's nose is iconic. It separates the marsupial from the bears. Without that classic Koala/ Reese nose, the newer Valentine Reese may as well be a feliz with fluffy ears

This one really disappointed me. It's one thing to give a costume a new pose... but to revert it to the basic pose? The original Funky Reese was adorable, even with outdated artwork. I'd much rather have it still look the way it did than the way it does now. And don't get me started on that sweatband...
This is truly a costume I hope they'll reconsider remaking to get back some of its originality. Until then... I won't be adding a Funky Reese to my army

Okay... I know a Tornado tore through and everything got a little topsy-turvy, but... really? From an Old Reese to an Old... Azul (assuming the hat is covering the antenna)? Did Gladys somehow get dragged through the Whirlpool or Foxfire Pond?! Whether this is some storyline I missed or an unfortunate oversight, I really miss the old Gladys... sitting in her rocking chair just knitting away...

And now we have new number 1! Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, it did. It got much worse.

This pet was my first dream pet. I know the art was out of date... but this new one? I... don't even have words. The Plant Reese was destroyed. I don't like basic poses in general, but this is worse than any other basic posed Reese, in my opinion. I feel like maybe if the leaves in back had just been made into a tall fan like the original instead of that silly head dress... and the Reese's arms were holding the flowers like the original... it wouldn't be so bad. I find the wooden look on the feet to be charming, honestly, but this could have been done so much better with a little more effort. The artists here are amazing and capable of great things... this just missed the mark in a big way.
Anyway that's my list of Reese- related gripes. Thanks for reading!
