It's starting to feel that way as of late because I can't seem to get them off the ground. At All.

If this is really the case, why does no one have the heart to tell me?? I'm really trying here! I thought my latest one was really clever too, but I guess not.

I just wish people would be upfront and honest about changing their minds or not being interested. I really don't bite at all! :'( It's been almost a week...

Ah well, I suppose I'm not actually cut out for starting topics anymore- but what else can I do if the roleplay forums are nothing short of dead and nothing catches my interest?

Id suggest trying to start up or join an RP based Club, those are generally more active over longer periods of time

Honestly i think the RP forum died a few years ago and never recovered. There were a few big RP'ers a few years back that basically made up most of the activity on that forum

I think the online list is just too small for enough people to see, want to participate and have time to continue RP'ing

That's an honest shame, I have such good memories of roleplaying here, but I guess the inactivity is unavoidable.

That being said I'm very sorry for having been wound up about it! I'll try my luck elsewhere I suppose Q Q Thanks so much for the words.

AFAIK, Gaia is the site to be at for a chance at good roleplaying.

I think it's more related to the inactivity rather than yours not being good enough. It doesn't necessarily reflect on you and your abilities.

I do remember this, so I didn't forget to mention it here. It just doesn't feel nice when people pretend to want to join and then just... don't for some reason. I try to tell myself they're more than likely busy but I just have a sinking feeling that I'm hoping is just my anxiety kicking in. Sad

You have to remember that the entire RP forum is essentially inactive. Very few users venture into those forums let alone engage in them. Mara isn't the hot spot for RPing these days.
