I haven???t played in years and wanted to know how many pets can I have in total? 
57 Pretty13 without giftboxes. And then you can use up to 87 extra pet giftboxes to have 100 pets (1 pet per extra pet giftbox used)
If you do a satellite search on the extra pet giftbox, it's description mentions it too about being able to use 87. (:
