It depends which pet you want. Some are given through missions. You can buy all of the plushies or potions from other players on trades.
75 DaniSome limited edition pets can only be found in au sets, others come from missions, the slate pyramid gives the echlin, the kamilah pyramid gives the hump (you have to have a map for the kamilah pyramid though), the ushunda can be gotten from the sewer struggle game. Like Irony said you can also buy them from other players.
