It's hard to think that I made this account when I was 13 years old, five years ago.

I'm a Senior now in high school, so I have the lovely burden of applying to colleges. I won't disclose where I plan on attending because it might be embarrassing if I get denied since I applied to highly selective ivy leagues.

I can say that I plan on majoring in biophysics to eventually test new medicines. This major isn't offered everywhere, so I stated I would be a pre-pharmacy major at the private and public in-state colleges/universities.

I plan to minor in ethics with either major I choose. If I major in pre-pharmacy, I will double minor in and physics and ethics. I love physics too much to not pursue it in college!

That's all. I just thought I'd let you guys know that I'm not 13 anymore and I've got big girl plans ahead of me!Wide Grin

  • MommaJohn 0 MommaJohncongrats. I'm a junior now and I hate it.
  • holisterkaty 0 holisterkatyI've always been disdainful toward schooling, but I've always loved learning. I imagine college will be geared more toward learning and not mechanical answers and state tests. I hope I'm not wrong.
  • MommaJohn 0 MommaJohnjust wondering, do u have any tips for the sat (specifically cr) sighhhh
  • holisterkaty 0 holisterkatyIf you have an iphone or apple prodcuct, download SAT apps! I used them whenever I had nothing to do and wasn't at home. http://sat.collegeboard.org/practice is excellent as well - word of the day, sample problems, ect. I used ACT flash cards, but it will help with the SAT as well - just ignore the science section. I used Barron's ACT 400 flash cards. They taught me little tricks that the test writers keep in mind (Like the answer to a 'pick the correct sentence' question will never start with the word 'Being&#39. This was the only product I used for the ACT and I scored a 32 in Reading and 31 in English - I'd definitely recommend it.
  • Sassy 23 SassyI made my account four and a half years ago when I was turning 14. Time sure does fly. I am not in an ivy league school, just an old rinky dink one that I still have to pay 15k a year. College is a blast for me. I have only just finished my first semester but one semester of college feels like nothing (except when you are swamped in papers and all sorts of exams) I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
