There's no need to make a topic in Help forums regarding your home being broken! Sometimes your marahome breaks and you'll have to fix it in order to get into your attic or use any items (like a bed) that were in your Marahome.

Once you've found and bought the tool you need, click on it in your inventory and then "Use Item".
