I feel like the reason pet trading is so slow these days is because no one is satisfied by any offers unless it has a name that no one who still goes online possesses...

Its so annoying. Pets dont even matter anymore just the names. Yeah I get it you dont want underscores and lowercase..but I can't understand why anything else really matters..who cares if the name is "Elizabeth" if its "Elizibeth" or even more so who cares that much..As long as the name just starts with a capital letter and makes sense its good enough for me. c:

everyone complains how slow trading is and its because no one is willing to accept any offers for this reason.
theres no way i would offer something like a chibs for a name like Daisy or something. That chibs is worth so much. That name is just below the pet.

whatever my rant and opinion that i bet no one reads.

Don't get me wrong, I can see what you mean- there are people who are trying to get real names only to trade them on for higher offers from name collectors, I just wanted to assure you that not all of us are bad :3
And I can definitely see how pet forum needs sorted out though xD

I definitely dont mean to stereotype everyone at all--and i in no way mean to offend anyone. I'm just going off what I've seen in the pet forums and trades from many users. To each their own, just stating why I think pet trades are going downhill c:

Gin you're completely right. Its gone crazy-- people expecting like 4 sindis for a chibs, how does that pricing equal out at all?
i think the humps are a perfect example of people expecting offers that are so ridiculous, its impossible to trade because everyone just wants some huge overoffer of like a pet with 500 stats or something :/

I see where you're coming from, but I've been a name person or several years and I will continue on that way :3
I would offer a rofling for a name I like. But I understand that not everyone shares my views and I won't expect people to accept an offer o a en on an le if I was making it, I don't work that way. and I know other pet collectors do to, so please don't stereotype us all(:

It is all a matter of opinion. You may like porkchops I do not. I like correctly spelled, capitalized words and not names. Will I settle for anything less? No. Why? Because I have worked hard to get my pets. That being said I also know their value and do not expect people to over offer either. But it is really not a concern of mine anymore as I am not trading anymore.

You also forgot to add in about how no one really accepts fair offers anymore, most all want over offeres, especially on Chibs, roflings, etc. Its not just the name craze ruining pet trading.
