Your persona must be unique and appropriate. There are no repeats. You may also not use an elf character from a movie, such as Buddy from Elf or any elf from Lord of the Rings, or any celebrity elf, such as Charlie Sheen, Paris Hilton, Hitler, or Jesus, sorry. Try to be creative!
In addition, you must come up with a short "biography" for your elf and post it below your application. You can talk about the inspiration behind your name, your time in the North Pole, etc. You biography only has to be a few sentences long (minimum 3, max 3 paragraphs) but you may not kill Santa in your bio. Also keep your bio PG-14. If you bio is too "extreme," your elf could be rejected and you could be asked re-write your bio.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to mail ME (girlgonepirate) or chimocha - we're very kind to anyone needing help and want to make sure everyone understands.
The blog will be updated a few times every day.
Do not change your forum status to your elf persona until you have been accepted in to the event.

Bio - I am the sad elf, and gosh I am just SO SAD. I am the saddest of all the elves, I cry every night and my makeup runs and it gets all over the toys and in the paint and all the toys I make have giant splotches of mascara in them and all the other elves feel so bad for me but because I am sad I just PUSH THEM AWAY with a dramatic sob. I am the Mommy Elf. I care for every specimen I could possibly find and treat them like my own. It just comes naturally, I can't help it. Well my story all started when Santa's sleigh broke down in front of my house during a test flight. Since all my children had grown up and gone to college I was by myself now. It was nice to have someone to care for. I cared and treated him to his every want and need. By the time they came to rescue him and fix the sleigh, I felt as if he was a son to me. He offered me a job at his factory, saying he needed more elves like me around, loving and kind. I openly accepted the offer and started working right off the bat. Soon, all the elves looked up to me, I was their second mom. But then things sort of got out of hand. I became a little too motherly I suppose. I started to nag and be annoying to the point when everyone wanted to crack, and finally they did. They flew up in an outrage and Santa fired me on the spot. Now I'm destined to die alone, caring for my 72 cats.

I'm the touch elf. My name is my reputation. I met Santa one day, he was drunk off his gumdrop, kids might think the old guy is candycanes and eggnog, but all he is a big lump of coal. He hired me, what a stupid mistake, but I like causing trouble, so of course I accepted. The thing he didnt know about me was I like to touch people. Its a bad habit that I can't control, so don't judge me for it. It's like biting your nails, you just do it without being aware. And lets just say that got me in some trouble. Santa fired me and blahblahblah now I'm here.

Like all the elves, I was also a normal elf, working in Santa's workshop. I was very obedient, intelligent and would always stop the naughty elves from playing pranks. Therefore, Santa named me the Angelic Elf.

Like any elf I was born and raised in Mr clauses work shop and learnt the trade of elf-ship, however I grew bored of making toys everyday of my life. I never got that feeling of fulfilment that all the elves when on about when making toys. So I began to play pranks on my fellow elves to amuse myself though out they day.

I would put whoopee cushions on their chairs and talcum powder in their hair dryers. However one day I was sooo bored I played a prank that sent me into exile, I burnt Rudolph nose so that now it is forever glowing red.

A long long long long time ago Santa was actually an elf. Until the one day when Chris Kringle came to the North Pole and made himself Santa Claus. My father, the last ever elf Santa, was made a wrapping elf and he and my mother were no longer important. Then my mother gave birth to me, I'm also a wrapping elf, but every gift I wrap, I add something special to.

I was raised in Santa's workshop, as a toy wrapperer.
Until one day, I acted up a lil bit, and started chucking toys everywhere, injuring elfs & Santa, basically cancelling Christmas.
It was chaos. For this, Santa took away all colour from me, so I can only see/be Black, White, or Grey.
