People think being mean or rude gives them a personality.

Like, if they post in big letters on their profile, 'WARNING: I AM NOT A NICE PERSON" or "GO AWAY" do they think it makes them seem interesting?

Or when experienced members are snippy and rude on forums; being experienced doesn't mean that you have the right to be rude.

I would much rather see people be overly nice than mean.

Being rude/ mean does not give you a personality.
It's not funny, it doesn't exert superiority or power.
So knock it off please.
