Why make a FAQ for a gallery item? Simply because I'm lazy lol! I usually get a couple mails a day asking about it. It's fun having such a unique item and I don't mind the mails, but this saves me having to answer the same questions over and over. If your question isn't answered here, feel free to mail me. I always try to answer.
Where did it come from? In March of 2007, Marapets held a big war event. The Xbox 360 was one of the prizes you could win for earning war points. You can read the news about the event on the March 13th news posting here:
Does it do anything? Nope, not to my knowledge. But to be honest I wouldn't risk trying to 'use' it. I got a real prize for winning it, and the gallery item is basically just a trophy.
What did you win? Originally I was supposed to win a real Xbox 360 when I got it from the War Redemption shop. We didn't have an Xbox and I knew my husband really wanted one so I worked really hard to win it for him. Due either site problems or something else (I'm still not sure lol) we ended up getting an Xbox before I ever got the one I won. I emailed Ian about it and he was kind enough to give me AU credits instead. I got 300 Account Upgrades credits, which was AWESOME!
Do you have any AU credit left from it? Nope lol, I wish! Since I won it in 2007, the 300 AU credits are long gone. I did make them last almost a year though!
How much is it worth and is it for sale? To me it's priceless. I had a lot of fun restocking my fingers off trying to win it, and it's neat having a unique item. I'd never sell it.
What is the most you've been offered? I have had a couple of people offer me 100 million mps to buy it off me, and I told them both no. I can earn mps, I'd rather have my item
Why is your item different now? In 2013 a hacker decided to try and have a little "fun" on Mara by flooding the Pot of Gold with rare items such as Rofling potions and copies of my Xbox. My item was taken by staff while they tried to round up all the faked copies and get rid of them. In addition, they were worried about Copyright issues, so once the mess was cleared up I got a shiny new Mbox as a replacement.

This is SO cool. It's so cool too that when they replaced the item, it wasn't just renamed but actually given pretty new artwork just for it <3. Congrats .
