My long forgotten friend

???But why daddy,??? I said as tears filled my eyes, as the little girl I was I didn???t know why I couldn???t see my friend anymore. My dad had said that Rachel???s mom didn???t like my mom and dad anymore, and that she wouldn???t let me see my friend. This was not as much a lie but not the complete truth.
Her mom, who profession was a veterinarian, had been stealing her own supplies, selling them for her and her boyfriends own profit The same person who was hurting my friend, the one that had a wife and kid. This had caused another rip in her and my mom???s friendship. Finally my mom had enough, as she said there are two things that could happen you leave or they change you and she wouldn???t change.
This was sad but I knew nothing of this, until a couple months ago. Her faded memory, the one of my very best friend was almost gone. In fact being the memory it was I had suppressed it. Then one day right after I had gone out I remembered my friend??? I was mad with myself I couldn???t even remember her name. Only that she was my friend and I couldn???t see her. At this time I had moved away.
I had to ask my mom, by the end of the story I was crying. She was hurting and I couldn???t help, all I could do was hope that people were watching to make sure she wasn???t in pain. I remember that night right before I had went to sleep right after I had asked my mom. I had pleaded with God, asked him to give me her pain to protect her. When I finally went to sleep that night I dreamed of the night my dad had told me I couldn???t see her.
Crying I went underneath my covers, my safe zone. Putting my hands together I prayed to God. ???God, if your there and listening could you send one of your angles and take my friend Rachel away from there and bring her to me.??? As I said this my hands were shaking and tears dripped from my eyes onto my bedspread below. I then promised him that I would be nice, even to the mean people at my school, that I would make my bed anything to make her safe. When she wasn???t there in the morning I cried.
To this day I have not had any contact with my friend, all of this is true. Her name was indeed Rachel. This wasn???t my full biography but it was one of the many stories that I have. I was about 7 at the time I last saw my friend.
