No matter how much you think Adam should've won, he didnt.
Kris did.

Just realize that its over. America casted its vote. So now everybody thinks this is the Chris Daughtry/David Archuletta theory with Adam, but hey, guess what? Simon even said- DO NOT THINK THAT THEY ARE SAFE BECAUSE SO MANY PEOPLE LIKE THEM.
I've had to explain this to so many other flamin' people. x]

I love him.

Now, let me explain why i like Kris more then Adam, before someone goes accusing me I dont like him cause he is g@y.

Kris's voice is more appealing to me. I like rock and all, dont get me wrong, but Adams scream-rock kind of thing doesnt work for me. Its just not my cup of tea. Kris /is/ cuter [TO ME] then Adam, and when I look for somebody I like, I look for three things;;
Singing.
Personality
Looks
If all three are at a high level, to me it is the whole package. To me, Adam has singing, personality and looks also. But his singing [AGAIN] doesnt appeal to me. His personality is aweshum. But his looks arent what I like. But he still is cute..[NOT REALLY. xD]

You say that you let people have their own opinion, but no way in hell you do! No matter how much you disagree with him, you cant totally rip him appart! Yeah, its a singing competition, but have you even HEARD a word of what simon says? THey have to have looks and other stuff to. And so what if he is a homophobe? Im slightly homophobic too! Its not his fault he was brought up to know that it is right for Men and woman to like, if it wasnt, why would god create two different genders? Please. Give it up! Kris won already. srsly. If your gonna crap mouth the board, then gtho.

This might be a bit hard to understand, so ill explain. I wrote a whole rant. The little snippets from my rant are the ones in quotations. The stuff under the " " are the responders stuff. You can figure the rest.

Which, again, is why Adam deserved to qwin. Would you want to buy a record from some guy who just reminds you of all of the other singers? I'd like someone who's original and really stands out as an artist.

Reworded;; His style is the same. But his voice is different. And his preference in songs. I hate when everyone says Adam has a distinctive style. How so? There are tons of Heavy Metal/Rock/Punk music artists.


Did I say "Everyone needs to think that this is the worst American Idol Season"? No. I just stated my opinion that this season was absolutely wrong.

Adam deserves to win. I won't deny that Kris wasn't a good competitor. He had a calming voice, sure. But he just wasn't as good of a preformer as Adam was. Which is why, to me, this is a big upset season.

As I've said now..TWICE. His passion is on broadway. He'd rather be on Broadway. He's heading to Broadway now that he's got fame.


So basically your telling me- because the person /YOU/ favoured- american idol this season was horrible? Does that sound wrong - in any way to you?

You see, its not /ALL/ about how the person sings. Some people think he was MUCH too overconfident-im one of them, while Kris was humble. Others say that his voice- his style of singing wasnt their cup of tea. They enjoyed listening to Kris's smooth voice better.
America voted for Kris. The majority. You cant say their stupid, for its only their opinion. monkies, i've seen you on boards saying its just your opinion. Or just others peoples opinions. Well, now your not letting America "speak" their mind. Adam is a good singer, I do NOT deny that. He - for some people- just isnt what they look for. He should go after his passion, singing ON broadway, in a theatrical way. He even said that all through out the sesason, he loves broadway, and he loves singing /there/. And to be truthful, Adam wont sell as many albums as everyone thinks he will.
Kris's soft smooth voice is calming, to me. It reminds me of other singers. Im sorry, but just because someone you liked didnt win, does NOT mean that it is the worst american idol season ever. Maybe to you, but not everyone. Its obvious that you want everyone you favour to win.

1) We have every right to post here, even if we do favour Kris over Adam.
2) Adam will not be more sucessful in the music industry. I've said it once and Ill say it again- HIS PASSION IS IN BROADWAY. IN PLAYS-THEATRES.
3) Dont say Kris didnt deserve it. Do /NOT/ say that. That is low. Why? Figure it out. Maybe Adam [to you] deserved it MORE, but still. Kris went through the same lengths as him. Trying his best, trying to please everyone. He helped people on the show, and he memorized all his songs and delivered them at least pretty well. <3 Please, they both deserved it. Adam used his diaphragm WAY to much, and if you have not had vocal lessons, you are being totally biased.Yeah, he has more of an "it" factor. He appeals to lots of people. Notice how he was only in the bottom 2 ONCE, on rock week? Which is not his thing, anyway.

It doesn't really matter who one, I'm pretty sure both of them went one and sold a bunch of albums.
I personally love some of Kris Allen's songs, and haven't listened to any of Adam's since he doesn't sing songs that are my type, persay (though some may like his style, while others may hate the music I like; it's all according to our preferences).

Once again...he does NOT prefer broadway.
He had a choice between american Idol and broadway. What does eh choose? AMERICAN IDOL.

Shesh how the hell do you know what HIS preference is if your ripping on him?

He also said in an interview that he gave up on broadway and his real passion was as a recoring artist. look it up...



I give you props for stating your opinion,and you have many other good points.
But there's always going to be more sensible people in the world hun your not always right.

No,it was a good season. But honestly,kris is just a bad knock off of David Archuletta.



Honestly,I am glad that Kris won. Even though I like Adam better.
You know why?

Look at David cook.
He was an amazing singer,with great style,performance,and attitude. Once American Idol had a hold of him they ruined him...the same with fantasia. There just not the same..
I'm NOT ripping on American Idol..I love the show. I just believe they should let the winners be more of who they really are.

So yay Adam didn't win..that means he can be who he wants to be.

I think that you're being a tad hypocritical.
Aren't we allowed to express our opinions? You're basically saying we can't express ours'. You keep saying that we should stop saying that we think Adam should have won, so that's telling us to keep our opinions to ourselves, while you go nuts with your's.
Sorry about this, but I was stating my opinion, if that's wrong.
