It would cost a lot less to buy a Chibs than to put a pet through the temple to get a Chibs.
And since you can only go through that temple once, I think you should make the most of it.
And if you decide you'd rather have a Chibs, then you can trade the Rofling for multiple Chibs.
Which would work out better than only getting one chibs from the temple
