day 1: all the tribute arrive in the centre of the cornucopia. The little island they were on was surrounded by water. Those that were strong swimmers had more of a chance swimming to safety and reaching the arena, and those who were strong fighters had more of a chance fighting the other tributes for supplies. Soon all 24 of them had to make a decision.
Cosplay of district 7: she knew that the better bet would of been to swim for safety and reach the main arena grounds before everyone else but she knew she needed some supplies. She ran for the closest bag, only planning to grab one thing and leaving. She looked up and saw everyone else fighting. With the bag in her hand she ran towards the brush and the water beyond. She only needed to take a few more steps but sharp pain had hit her back. She fell forward, she screamed in agony and turned to see CandidRose with a smile on her face. Then she closed her eyes never to wake again
Bammargera1fan of district 10: they knew that it was better for them to swim to safety. For they had no chance in battle. as soon as the battle started they had jumped into the water and swam with all their might. If they only reached the land then they would have a chance. swimming with all their might, it was in view. They only needed a few more feet. Yet they felt hands on their head, and a force pushing them under the water. They kept coming up for air but would always keep falling right back under. She saw the face of the one who was drowning her. Meodly had such a fierce look on her face as she held her down. Their was no air in her lungs and she went down, the last thing she saw was the sun shining down on her as she fell deeper into the lake.
Figs of district 2: She was going to fight, no matter what happened she was going to grab some supplies and have a hand up ahead of everyone else. She had grabbed a weapon and brandished it by her side, eyeing anyone coming towards her. Thats when she saw Geek running towards her with an axe in hand. grabbing the knife she aimed it in front of her and took a swipe. They were dancing around each other, leaving cuts on one another. Figs lunged forward but geek dodged the coming attack and swiped at figs. Figs had no clue where the axe hit, only that it did hit. She crumpled to the ground and laughed as she took her last breath.
nichelle of district 6: she had only meant to grab one bag and then high tail it out of there. She never thought that this would happen instead. Famulus had a wire wrapped around her neck, she pulled on it trying to lessen the grip so she could breath only a little. But famulus just pulled harder. Famulus stopped though right before nichelle had fully succumbed to the chocking, was she being let go? nope cause next thing she knew with a mighty kick she had fallen into the lake. Still out of breath she knew their was no way she could muster enough strength to swim. She laid still as she sunk into the lakes depth, their was nothing she could do as the world around her grew dark.
TeaKitty of district 9: she wasn't even going to try to attempt at fighting everyone else. She knew her chances were low so what was the point. She jumped into the lake and with all her strength swam towards the land ahead. If she could reach it she would know she had a chance of surviving and finding a place to hide. And that she did, as soon as her legs reached the bottom of the ground she scurried out of the water and to safety. Her legs felt like lead and her breath was labored but she had gotten away. She was tired and oh so hungry so when that red topped mushroom had entered her sight the thought of it being poisonous never crossed her mind. She practically inhaled the mushroom, letting it fill her stomach. Feeling a little dizzy and tired she chose to take a quick power nap to gain some strength. Only problem was once she closed her eyes she never opened them again.
day 2: everyone has to decide should they hide up in the trees, find safety in a cave, or team up to wait out the night
aus of district 2: they had chosen to climb up a tree for the night, they did not sleep well though for every sound the forest made kept them awake wondering if it was another of the tributes on the forest ground. It felt like they waited forever for the sun to light up the skies, so they were relieved when the first light of day shone through the leaves. They climbed down the tree they were on, only to land beside one of the tributes for ditrict 1. they tried to run but only ran into the second tribute of district 1. they didn't remember what happened next only that there was lots of pain.
HonchyPonchy of district 8: not only had they chosen to climb up a tree but they took it one step farther by camouflaging as a tree themselves, no way any other tribute could find them now. They had a good nights sleep with no worry in the world. And come morning they felt very refreshed and happy in a way. Their confidence was through the roof. They climbed down the tree so feebly, and once they were back down on the forest ground they gave a big stretch. Then they crumpled to the floor as a sharp pain from the hatchet that figs had thrown at them immobilized them. Figs walked over, bent down and smiled at her " tree camouflage works when your in a tree, on the ground not so much"
na of district 3: the base that she and famulus built was very secure and a work of art really. Their was no way anyone who walked into their base would walk out alive. Of course maybe she shouldn't of boasted as much as she did for before she had known what happened yumm had walked into their base. Thier weapon was by their side, na jumped up and ran over to yumm with famulus by their side. They all swiped and lunged at one another, by the time it was over na had found herself laying on the ground watching famulus running after yumm who was escaping. Na's heart felt heavy and weak, they tried so hard to take in more than their final breath but the damage was done.
yumm of district 10: they could not believe their luck, they had downed one of the tributes of district 3. Oh how they thought their base was secured butnope she found a way in and succeded in taking one of them down. Poor famulus was all alone now. Now she just had to run away from famulus and then she could hide out for a bit. Although she should of paid more attention to where she was running cause next thing they knew a log had somehow jumped out on front of her and she went flying. Once she landed she tried to get back up but felt a weight on her back as famulus pinned her to the ground . She did not even feel the knife as famulus shoved i into her back, only felt her life slipped away
AKPOP1010 of district 11: she had chosen to climb up the tree for the night to wait out the morning. But what she had not known was the tree she had chosen was a home to a big tracker jacker nest. If she had kept her senses aware she may of heard the faint buzzing or had seen their little yellow bodies flying around. But the only thing she cared about was getting to safety that she didn't know until her foot smashed against the hive. They all flew at her at once, she swiped as much as could away from her but taking her hands off of the tree was not a good idea. She fell and as she watched the trees blur from her version she wasn't sure if it was the venom that would do its job first or the force of landing on the grass below.
panem of district 11: they had thought the cave was a good idea, for their climbing skills were none. They ventured farther into the cave till what ever light was coming from the entrance had disappeared. The cave was deathly quite, no sound could penetrate. Maybe thats why she wasn't aware of the two tribute of district five sneaking up behind her. She felt a hand grab her from behind and even before she had a chance to scream her neck was snapped. The death was instant and the cave fell deathly quite again although this time that statement rang even more true.
day 3: the remaining tributes are to find food either by fishing, hunting, foraging, or going underground to the mysterious bunker that appeared
famulus of district 3: he decided to forage for his food, he already had a pile of berries forming but now he was working on his pile of mushrooms. He knew quite well what berries and mushrooms were poisonous and what ones were safe. as he bent down to grab a mushroom he heard a growl from behind. Turning around he found himself face to face with a brown grizzly bear. He didn't have time to react when the bear finished him off than walked over to the pile of berries for dessert
Geek of district 5: she had been fishing for a while, staying still so as not to scare any fish. She would attack only at the last minute. she was waiting patiently when she heard a splash coming from her left. Turning she saw district 4 tribute megan staring at her. Geek turned and started to run but she didn't go very far before she felt megans trident in her back.
kaitlin of district 6: she had her trident in her hand and was making her way towards the river to get some fishing done. She was well taught in the ways of fishing. As she stepped into the river she took aim. She watched as some weird looking fish made their way over to her. This was going to be easier then she had initially thought. As she watched the fish gather around her ankles she felt sharp pain, it took only a minute for her to realize they were piranhas but at the moment they had already ate to deep.
meodlly of district 12: she had been following the deer for a while, tracking its movements. She just needed one good shot but the deer always seemed to have its vital spots hidden from her. the deer was moving again walking deeper into the forest. She followed after it, as she walked forward her feet brushed against a pile of leaves and something snapped around her foot. Their was a great deal of pain as the trap was embedded into her leg. Looking around she saw unearthly smiling from the dense underbush. meodlly looked right at them and screamed "help me" but unearthly turned around and headed towards one of their other traps.
day 4: the tributes either have to endure a erupting volcano with lava in the north. A blizzarding snow storm in the west. Or a terrifying tornado in the south
lumos of district one: Lumos was sure the sponsor gift that was given to him was really a trap sent from president snow. He was sure that not using the item would in turn allow him to survive the tornado that was buffeting the trees outside, but for some unknown reason the tornado never left and it really felt like it was following him everywhere he went. Was it possible president snow was out to get revenge on him? He ran ahead in hopes he could outrun the tornado but he truly didn't get that far before he felt himself being lifted up into the sky. He saw the world underneath his feet spiral out of control as the winds spun him around and around. He tried to call out for help but no one heard or saw him...except for one person who was watching from the other side. President Snow smiled as he watched his plan unfold. No one was allowed to best him at his own game.
megan of district 4: she ran, the lava at her feet. Try as she might she could never seem to get far away from the lava to be safe. She was not going to give up though. As she turned the corner she bumped into the tribute of district 5 cort. They stared each other down. Both knew that at this point their was no going forward or going back. They would either both die from the lava or only one of them would die with a fight. Both went at each other, there was lots of fists connecting and knives slashing. the lava was coming closer and megan only hesitated for a mere second to look at the lava mere inches from their feet. That was enough for cort to give one big push and shove megan into the lava. Megan had no time to react before she felt her body go up in flames
ceciliabenitez of district 8: she had ran into tink of district 4 while they were both trying to get free of the volcano and lava. Rather then fight each other they had come to a mutual agreement that the only way for the both of them to survive was to work together. They jumped over any obstacles, and were t sure to help the other when in need. ceciliabenitez could tell that their were outrunning the lava and were close to safety. She really shouldn't of trusted tink though cause as they were jumping over a log together she felt herself being pushed. Next thing she knew she hit the arenas barrier as tink practically threw her into it. The electricty coursed threw her body and mad her a dancing ragdoll as she shook from side to side
figs of district 12: they had only closed their eyes for a second, but when they had reopened them all of their supplies had dissapeared. Figs wasn't sure but she felt like the figure running away in the dense snow may of been september of distrcit 8, but it was to far to tell. Oh how figs wished for a nice warm blanket to curl up in. The most they could do was hug themselves as it kept getting colder and colder. Try as they might they knew they had to stay awake. Falling asleep right now would do more damage then good. They felt themselves drifting off to sleep, and for once their weakened body did nothing to help as their eyes closed. Anyone who would of found them the next day would of seen a figs popsicle.
