I'm Back

I know that I haven't been on in awhile and that's because I been going though some real scary stuff lately, about 4 months ago, almost at in the middle of June I started getting these real bad headaches but think anything of it and would just take ibuprofen for it. Then one day my face, hands, and mouth just going numb all of a sudden, I was so scared because I didn't know what was happening, I ended up calling my sister from work asking could she come home because I wasn't feeling right and she went told her supervisor that she needed to go home because of a family emergency and her supervisor understood let her go home. As soon as she got to me, she took me to the hospital, and I told the receptionist my the symptoms that I was having and when I went to the triage, and I explain to the nurse the symptoms that I was having with right side of my face, mouth and hands going numb, she immediately knew that it was a stroke because after I was examined they took me on the stroke ward and then they ran a CT scan because of a fall I had on May 3rd which lead to the headaches, and turns out that I had bleeding on my brain. So, I had to be transfer to the hospital in Lafayette because they had neurosurgeon there and the hospital I was at didn't. I was hospitalized there for 7 days because I had to have a procedure done on my brain to stop the bleeding. And on top of that I had vision loss in my right eye but still have vision in my left eye. I am now going to therapy 3 days a week for after the stroke which left the right side of my body weak, which I find kind of strange because when I had that fall and hit the ground, I fell on my left side not my right side. I tell ya, this summer just hasn't been good for me. But by the grace of God, I am recovering and just trying to get back to my old self.
