Glenn watched her from behind the bushes, though she had no idea he was there. Her hands where gripping a tattered, worn bear with a button eye missing and a paw about to fall off. She ran back and fourth frantically, looking for something, anything- But what?
She had been searching for a while now, and still hadn???t found it. Pale, cold, shivering, she looked as if she could drop at any moment. Glenn couldn???t allow that.
???Hello,??? He greeted, his tone polite, and chilling at the same time, ???Are you lost????
???No,??? Was all the girl could manage.
???My name???s Glenn,??? Glenn greeted, holding out his pale hand for her to shake.
???Bea,??? She smiled. Glenn eyed her clothing: A long, partly laced, cream-yellow dress with white frills at the bottom. It buttoned up, too.
???Nice bear,??? He pointed his right index finger at the bear, ???What???s it???s name????
???Lonely,??? Bea looked at her feet and shuffled uneasily.
???And how old are you???? Glenn raised his eyebrows in amusement.
???Seventeen,??? Bea admitted.
Glenn studied the girl for a moment. Admittedly, she was quite beautiful, natural. Her hair grew to the middle of her back, and curled in pretty brunette waves. Her eyes shone, even though they where a dark, chocolate brown, and her eyebrows where thin and high. Her cheekbones where slightly visible, set deep into clear, peachy skin, ???Do you need help???? Glenn finally broke the silence.
???If you can help me,??? Bea smiled.
???What are you looking for???? Glenn smiled in reply.
???The gem of Vinyla,??? Bea smiled darkly.
???The gem that???s supposed to raise the dead???? Glenn froze in place, his eyes taking a thick glare, half stare, at Bea. Could this sweet, young girl seriously be thinking of raising the dead?
