I saw a small child standing on the ground and God way up in the Heavens. The child asked God to come closer, and He did, however He stopped a little way away from the child.
The child asked, 'God, why have you stopped? What is blocking your path?'
The Lord revealed to the child 2 closed doors that were between Him and the child. One on the child's side, a solid wood door and one on God's side, a door made completely of glass.
The child asked, 'How am I supposed to get through these doors?'
The Lord replied, 'It is easy. The first door, your door, you can open now if you like. All you need to do is invite me into your life.'
With that the child opened the first door. Behind the door was a table with a book on it. The child again asked God, 'How am I supposed to open the second door, and what is this book, am I supposed to use it for something?'
The Lord replied, 'My child, that book is the Bible. It is my word and your guide, it will help you to grow and lead you in the path that you will need to follow. Your road will be difficult and there will be many problems along the way. Always remember that I am here watching you through this glass door. When I am ready for you to join me in Heaven, I will open my door and you will be able to take up your place in My house. For now though, go and know that I am here with you always watching over you. And remember I can open my door at any time, so be ready when I call. I Love you My Child!'
