National Appreciate a Dragon Day is January 16th this year. In honor of our favorite dragons, I am hosting an ad contest.
Welcome to the ATM Ad Agency! Your job is to take our product Dragon Pants and make an appealing ad campaign for it! We want everyone on Mara to want to rush right out and model this high fashion asap! We want customers to be crashing internet sites and knocking down the doors of brick and mortar stores looking for these pants! They may be retired, but we want Dragon Pants to go viral!
Your ad campaign can be as simple or as complex as you please. You can write a jingle or slogan, you can pretend to be a social media sensation, you can do artwork with a slogan on it, you can write out a commercial, or whatever else you want to do.
The campaign that makes me want to wear this wardrobe item the most will win the Dragon Pants! Everyone who enters will win a prize with the word "dragon" in it from my attic.
Contest begins 1/16/25 and ends 1/22/25.

Base score is the number and type of bricks you get:
Dark Chocolate Bricks = 5 points
Milk Chocolate Bricks = 10 points
White Chocolate Bricks = 15 points
Orange Chocolate Bricks = 20 points
Cracked Dark Chocolate Bricks (3-hit) = 35 points
Cracked Orange Chocolate Bricks (2-hit) = 50 points
Silver Bricks = 100 points
Each powerup adds more points to the base score:
Slower ball speed = 25 points
More balls = 25 points
Bigger paddle = 25 points
Bottom bar = 25 points
Magnet = 50 points
Fireball = 50 points
Side Guns = 50 points
Faster ball speed = 75 points
Smaller paddle = 100 points
1 Up = 100 points
Lives remaining does not affect score
Each level starts with a certain number of points for Level Bonus:
level 1 = 11, level 2 = 15, level 3 = 31, level 4 = 33, and so on (there's no pattern for the amount of base bonus points).
The Level Bonus points increase with each type of powerup you get AND the level you are on. I have not worked on figuring these out yet.
I have figured out the base score (from the different types of bricks), base level bonus score (if you get zero powerups), and the total score you would receive for levels 1-45 (without any powerups or silver bricks):
In honor of Lost Sock Awareness Day, here's a Shusan Quest Challenge.
NOTE: Even if we don't get Lost Sock Awareness this year, the challenge will still go on.
The challenge starts Saturday, May 9, 2026 on Lost Sock Awareness Day and will run until the end of Saturday, May 16th.
Everyone who enters will win 10,000 club points. Winners will be awarded points in addition to the entry award. So, for example, if you come in 4th place you win 50K + 10K = 60K.

Prizes will be award to the person who does the most quests in the allotted time. In the event of a tie, the winners will be assigned a number and a random number generator will decide winners.
