Woah.. Just went and watched the musical Miss Siagon. It was fantastic. BRILLIANTLY done, MARVELOUS!
I absolutely love it. I may even fork out another 80 bucks to go see it again.
They did amazing things with the screens, making some things look so fantastically 3D. The music was awesome, and they had the perfect mix of sadness, comedy, and seriousness.
Their voices were phenomenal, and the props were brilliant. The opening scene was brilliant, as the lights, music and dancing captivated you right away.
**Spoiler Alert (Kinda)** My only complaint was the woman who played Chris's wife. She just..wasn't right, in a way.
ANYWAY, it was amazing, and much better than I expected. =D Now I cant decide whether Les Miserables (My all time favourite) or Miss Siagon is better!
That was..That was SO BAD! Oh My GOD! I had my HAND to my heart the whole time. That was terrible. Ergh.
If you watch it you'll notice that the audience is screaming their heads off at the beginning, and a bit of a hush comes over the crowd toward the end.
Gosh. =o
He seemed really old in that one particular song. All the others were pretty good! It was like he didnt know what to do with his hands and everything.
So I say 'Gerard, stick with your NEWER songs.' Ewwey. xD
