now that i've had some sleep i thought it would be a good idea to write about what happened yesterday

it started off as a normal day, i hopped onto mara and was doing my daily thing as usual, lurking on forums browsing through pet trades after an hour or so i heard some loud voices in the living room but just shrugged it off "theyre probably on the webcam with family overseas". my brother called me out of my room - turns out mum won the lottery for $1000. mum and dad were excited. it was my dads birthday afterall, so it was a great surprise. i went back to my room and was called out again, turns out my cousin came to visit with his puppy jesse. man jesse has grown a lot. yes jesse is a guy. anyways my bro and cousin both went off somewhere so i went back to my room. i went back to doing my daily mara thing listening to music, and whatnot when a few hours later my mum comes into my room crying and says to me "get your things i'm taking you to your grandmas" and iwas like "mum? whats wrong.." all she replied with was "hurry get your things we have to go" worried, i ask again "mum whats happened..?" she goes "your brothers been in an accident hurry lets go". the moment she said that i thought of the worst possible things that could've happened to him and honestly expected to not see him again. i was getting all worked up inside - i wanted to know if he was alright and what happened and yeah if he was alright. i protested to being taken to my grandmas and had some time to calm myself. my mum was a mess and my dad he was angry at the situation. who could blame him? its not something a parent ever wants to hear "he's been in an accident". multiple times i reminded them both we need to stay calm in this situation but yeah mum was now on and off crying as she texted my aunties and called the others, updating them about the situation etc. we got ready and made our way to the hospital and met up with my cousin - the one with the dog. we're glad he was there when the accident happened. he then explained it to us. what happened was that they were going to get some food and my bro was on his motorbike. there was another guy on his motorbike infront of my brother and that man signaled to turn left. my brother wasnt with this dude or anything, he was going straight. the woman thought my brother was also turning but no he was not. she cut him off and he hit the car at 70km/hr. he fell onto his arm first and then rolled over i guess or slid or something. glad
