*Update: My grandma had her surgery on Monday. They removed part of her jaw, where the cancer was. It was located in her jaw bone to be exact. They took an unused bone out of her leg and replaced it for the jaw bone. She has staples from ear to ear around the bottom of her chin line, and a stitches from her lip down to her chin. She currently is using a feeding tube, and other tubes for other reasons. She will need radiation and a bit if chemo to make sure the cancer won't come back. The doctor said that her surgery was phenomenal and she shouldn't have the cancer come back. (Knock on wood!! Please help find a cure, so my grandma will not have to go through physical and emotional pain! Just supporting the cause means a lot to me! Thank yo so far for all the supporters! Oral cancer is very common, but not read a lot about. I hope to increase awareness in every way possible!
