Theres a place I go
That I rarely show
A side of me
You'll never know
Where I can wander
And constantly ponder
The choices I've made
And the mistakes that dug my grave
Where blood runs wild through my veins
Proving I'm still okay
And although I wish I was rather dead
I'm still alive and well inside my head
And at night my enemy
Is the person that lies inside of me
And the thoughts that haunt my memory
Are the images that won't let me be
They make me believe
That I need you to bleed
To feel some sort of emotion
Because through pain I see your devotion
But every time I hurt you
With Every wound so fresh and new
I still lie awake to the sound of voices
Telling me there are other choices
And even though I want and need
The love you radiate and I gladly receive
I don't want to be the reason
You feel dead inside this Valentines Season
I love you enough to let you go
But I want you enough to work on us
And prove to you I'm not a circus freak show
I want to give you my heart
Even if my mind tells me you'll tear it apart
If I could win the war inside my head
Then we cuddle when we went to bed
Ashes to ashes
Dust to dust
I'll find a way
If you give me your trust...

Hey Hawky!! Here's one I wrote to put on FaceBook, cause, I was bored. It had a cool picture to go with it too, but I have no idea how to copy it into here. -Headdesk- Anywho...

Dancing in the Rain

The clouds roll in
The sun is in sin
And a thunderstorm is brewing.
The children get ready
As the drizzle starts steady
The thunder and lightning renewing.

I hear the door slam
As the kids scram
To join those from down the lane.
I go to the door
And smile the more
As my children dance in the rain.

They dance and twirl
Either boy or girl
And they look to the sky in glee.
They laugh and play
And they never stray
For they know that they are free.

They slip and slide
But never subside
Adreneline pumping through vains.
We parents all smile
As we watch for a while
As our children dance in the rain.

The cloud start away
Done for the day
And the children all whine much.
They come inside
All red-eyed
Getting ready for bed and such.

We tuck them in
Blankets to chins
And dreams float through their brains.
As the clock chimes
We can't wait 'til next time
Our children can dance in the rain.

To The Future We Will Run~

I believe in the nothingness of everything,

yet think it not an empty hope that there is something;

the greatest curse of a dreamer,

is that it shall always remain a desire.

But my dream is that this curse I may overcome,

to prove that anyone can be a someone;

that a heart tempered in speculation,

will create momentum to break the veil into comprehension.

The passive condemn the fanatic,

as the strong man despises the meek;

but perhaps they are both at fault,

and there is a middle we should seek?
