Exactly 10 Years Ago to this minute, we were rushing around, testing and finishing off the final designs for pets, items and our the first world maps. I was 16, had just came back from my summer holiday in Portugal - where the pet names Azul and Feliz came from - and had just a few hours before we were opening! Over 150 people per hour were refreshing, waiting for us to open and our basic hosting was struggling to keep up with the demand!

We have just completed a major update to all Items on the site. Every single item on the site has been re-coded, fixing a lot of errors, spelling mistakes and adding useful links. When you use an item, it automatically returns you to your Inventory making everything faster and a lot easier.

Ian has changed into Daylight Kidlet and your Enchanted Daylight Kidlet Plushie has now lost its magical power

The Bakery in Candyland and the Flower Shop in Puchalla Village have been updated.

Gobble, Gobble, Gobble!





The Gobble can now wear the Chibi Costume.



The Negative, Prison, Starry and Underwater Gobble have also been updated.

The Collections section is now complete. All 18 different collections, including pet collections have been updated. The layout and artwork for them all has improved and they have all been re-coded to load faster. The pet collections have been added to this page, allowing you to view all of your pets at once. They all also have missing lists now.

A new Weekly Item Contest has just started. This week's item is Ziranek Trident, you will need to send this item to the 'Challenge' account. The challenge is to send as many of this item to 'Challenge' this week. The top 3 players at the end of the challenge will receive a Earth Fairy Easter Egg, 200,000MP and a Gold Trophy, the next 6 players will receive 150,000MP and a Silver Trophy and the next 9 players will receive 100,000MP and a Bronze Trophy.

The Fishing in Jenoa has been updated. New prizes have been added and the MP pay outs have been increased. You may also pick up a new Dukka Treasure Chest that has a random Dukka Coin inside! As soon as Jenoa gets a revamp, this feature will be moving from Jenoa to Minipet Island.




The Aquarium in Jenoa has been redrawn. All previous Fish Minipets have also been revamped.

The Chibs can now wear the Fat, Plushie and Underwater Costumes.



The Quests and Missions pages have been updated.

The Marapets Account Protection Guarantee has been updated. Although it should be clear to most players, we ask you all to review the changes.

The Doyle, Kaala and Lati can now wear the Chibi Costume.



All non-restocking Shops in Marada have been re-coded. They have moved over to the new 'Shops' system recently released, allowing for better integration into the site. The main change is that you will now be awarded RP from purchases at all stores, excluding the RP shops and Dukka Coin Exchange. Another useful change is that using 'Price Checker' on any of the items in these shops will show you the price, stock level and a quick link to the shop. This means that if the Charity Shop has an item in stock, the price checker will link to this item at half price first! The Pirate Ship and Treasure Map shops have new shopkeepers too.


You can now add Lipsticks, Hair Dye, Eye and Face Makeup to your Wardrobes. They are no longer one use items, meaning that you can collect them all and change your style all the time for free. The new wardrobes make these items a lot better, as you can try on all of the different make up until you get the right look.

NEW QUEST
In the hot and dry heat of Kamilah Desert, these Hump pets have just finished a race. They are too thirsty to race again and need your help! Each Hump below wants you to bring them a different drink before they will race again. If you are the first to quench their thirst, they will race for you. Every Hump has different odds of winning the race. If your Hump wins the race, you will win MP. If a Hump wins at 30 to 1, you will win 15,000MP. If your Hump loses the race, you will win a consolation prize of 250MP and a Yuni Brows Coupon.



Hump Racing has been added to the Kamilah Desert map and Quests page.

Zetzilla is back! Ever since he destroyed the first City of Marada, Zetzilla has had a reputation as being evil and scary. When he first moved to Gigantic Paradise there was widespread panic but he has finally found a place where his size and strength is normal. He believes that being strong and powerful is a good thing and everyday he chooses a random colour and species of Marapets and pays for their Gym and Elite Gym training. Zetzilla has been added to the Gigantic Paradise map.

The Gym and Elite Gym have been updated. They both have brand new art and an improved layout. You should notice that it is now a lot quicker to enter, pay and complete gym sessions. The Diamonds have also been updated.





The Bubble Pit in Jenoa has been updated and is now linked to from the Battle Arena. Visit and Pleon will chant her spell to heal your pet's health for the Battle Arena.

The Lottery in Biala Mountain has been updated. The artwork and layout has been improved. You can now buy a maximum of 125 lottery tickets per week, costing 100MP each. The weekly jackpot has been increased and there is a new 'Lucky Dip' feature, which will automatically select random lottery numbers for you. You could also randomly win a Snow Costume whenever you buy a ticket!

Stamp Albums in the Biala Mountain have been updated. If you have completed all 30 stamps on the 'Marapets' stamp album page, view this page and you will be rewarded with 25,000MP, 8 new items and a new medal for your profile.

NEW GAME
We have just released a new game, Duck or Dive in Slater Park. Heckles the Clown lives in Slater Park. He has 19 ducks in his duck pond, each with an MP amount written underneath them of between 1MP and 25,000MP. You can play Duck or Dive once per day for FREE. Heckles will randomly pick one of his ducks and shuffle his other 18. Every 5 picks you will be given an MP offer. You can then either keep picking ducks (Duck) or accept Heckles' offer (Dive). If you think Heckles' Duck has the highest MP you should 'Duck, Duck, Duck!'


The Duck or Dive game has been added to Slater Park and the 'Free Games' countdown page.

The Baby, Cupid, Earth Fairy, Injured, Mad Scientist, Pixie and Royal Renat have been updated.
