Do you make an outstanding turkey? Are your pies to die for? Have you a special Thanksgiving recipe your family waits all year to eat? Any hand-me-down recipes from Mom or Grandma or Great-Grandma you love at Thanksgiving time?

TwilightMyst has just used her 10th bone trumpet and I have an extra one. I'll use a number generator based on the number of posts here and the winner will get the bonetrumpet.png
bone trumpet. Of course, Thanksgiving is a special time for sharing and I'm hoping we can all share our favorite Thanksgiving recipes with our club because we have such kind, caring, generous clubbies.
So, please post below.

The Rules are simple. You must be a club member of Addicted to Mara 2.0. You can post as many recipes as you'd like. I, for one, am going to print them out and try some, but the winner will not be based on his/her recipe. Just number generated.

Cheesecake Stuffed Strawberries You will need: 1 lb large strawberries (I used 2 lbs assorted sized strawberries and still had a little stuffing left over though) 8 oz cream chease, softened (cause use 1/3 less fat cream cheese) 3-4 tbsp powdered sugar (4 tbsp for a sweeter filling) 1 tsp vanilla extract gram cracker crumbs Directions: 1. Rinse strawberries and cut around the top of the strawberry. Remove the top and clean out with a paring knife, if necessary. (Some may already be hollow inside.) Prepare all strawberries and set aside. 2. In a mixing bowl beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until creamy. Add cream cheese mix to a piping bag or ziploc bag with the corner snipped off. (I just spooned the mixture in as I forgot to read the part saying use a bag lol) Fill strawberries with cheesecake mixture. Once strawberries are filled dip the top in the graham cracker crumbs. If not serving immediately refrigerate until serving.

and they were wonderful with the caramel machiato too! I've also used the powders that you just pour in water and shake, those came out good as well, but I prefer the ones with some caffeine lol I don't want to win though, I already have 10 bone trumpets and wouldn't want to take one from someone who could use it!

Chocolate Coffee Meringue Kisses recipe Ingredients 3 large egg whites 1 cup sugar 3 tablespoons cocoa powder (or 1 packet of hot cocoa) 1 teaspoon instant espresso powder (or any kind of instant coffee/cappuccino or whatever you like I used mocha the last 3 times I made these) 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Directions Position oven racks in the top and bottom thirds of oven. Preheat oven to 275*F and line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper. (I use wax paper although honestly I don't know if there's a difference between the 2 lol) Use an electric mixer to whip egg whites until foamy. With the mixer still running add sugar in a slow steady stream. Continue to beat until shiny and stiff. Sift in cocoa and espresso powder over whites, then add vanilla. Gently fold in. (I fold it in for a few then use my hand mixer on low lol. I'm not one for following directions lol!) Pipe or drop heaping tablespoons onto baking sheets leaving 1 1/2 inches between. Bake until firm on outside, between 20-35 mins. Cool completely on baking sheets (Doesn't take long at all to do that, maybe 10 mins for me I think it was) Peel kisses off paper and store in airtight container no more than 2 days. Mine never come out to where they hold their shape so I don't pipe them, I just drop them on the sheet one spoon at a time. They come out with a crispy outside and a fudge like inside. If you cook them too long they'll crack and be super puffy, if you cook them just right they'll be puffy, but not too much, and they won't crack. The outside is crispy but fragile and breaks easy. Lol I'm not too good at baking meringues I think, but I love these Smile They're easy to make, and taste good. Next time I'm using instant caramel machiato instead of the mocha I've been using though.

Super Easy fudge and peanut brittle recipes Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge What you need: 2 cups sugar 3 tps cocoa (or 6 tbs cocoa powder) 1/2 cup milk 1 cup peanut butter 1 tbs vanilla Instructions: Put peanut butter and vanilla in a medium sized bowl. Butter a platter or large baking dish. In a saucepan mix sugar, cocoa (or cocoa powder) and milk over medium heat until well mixed. Bring to a rapid boil and let it boil for exactly 1 minute. Quickly pour over peanut butter and vanilla and beat until thick, it should take a minute or less. Pour on a buttered platter or in a buttered large baking dish. Spread until even and let cool. After it cools cut into squares and enjoy. Peanut Brittle What you need: 3/4 cup water 1 1/2 cup sugar 1 1/4 cup peanuts Instructions: Line cookie sheet with parchment paper or coat it with cooking spray. In a saucepan combine water and sugar. Stir briefly and then boil until it's a light amber in color. If you put a little into water and it immediately hardens it's ready. (I've been making it a long time and go by color alone and haven't messed it up yet so either I'm lucky or it's just ready when it's an amber color.) Remove from heat and quickly stir in peanuts. Pour on baking sheet and spread until it's one even layer. Cool about 20 minutes, break with your hands.
